A Matter of Caos: Episode 3 Mr Gilbert's search for the missing woman known as Daphne has had him tango with mobsters and murderers, and now he's finally infiltrated a dangerous cult. But where is Daphne, and what does she have to do with this? You'll need to hunt for answers in this supernatural point-and-click noir adventure.

A Matter of Caos: Episode 2 The plot thickens as Mr Gilbert continues in his search for Daphne, and it quickly becomes apparent this is no ordinary missing girl. You'll need to use all his powers of deduction (and a tentacle or three) to succeed in this second installment of the supernatural noir point-and-click adventure series.

A Matter of Caos: Episode 1 Mr. Gilbert is just your average hardworking gumshoe... with tentacles, purple flesh, and mind powers, of course. But even he may have bitten off more than he can chew when he agrees to look for a missing girl in the seedy underworld he lives in, in this first installment of a point-and-click adventure series from Expera Games Studio.

The Seventh Door There are grim things happening in The Seventh Door. You play as Julian, a man who wakes up on a rooftop only knowing a name and as Detective Zikas who is investigating a murder on that same rooftop, unknowing it will throw them both right in the middle of a grand scale conspiracy in this free indie adventure.

The Detail - Episode 1: Where the Dead Lie For Detective Moore, the night shift at his police department is about to get real exciting. A dead body with a mystery killer, internal affairs breathing down his neck over his less-than-tactful ways of getting at the truth and the chief expecting a quick investigation for the sake of public image. It's quite the wild ride that Rival Games offers in their point-and-click crime noir adventure title, The Detail - Episode 1: Where the Dead Lie.

Third Eye Crime: Act 1 It's difficult to pull off a noir atmosphere without getting pretentious. It's difficult to pull off a stealth game without resorting to tired tropes. Third Eye Crime manages to avoid both of those traps. The astonishingly stylish top-down puzzle/action game puts you in the speedy shoes of a criminal who can read minds. He uses his ability to tell where guards are about to search, staying quite literally one step ahead of trouble.

Face Noir New York can be a tough city, especially during the great depression. You play Jack del Nero, P.I. in this wonderfully atmospheric adventure game. You're mixed up in something bad. So bad that you are accused of murder, and the police chief seems to think you are guilty until proven innocent. Can you clear your name while unraveling the mysterious circumstances that got you here?

Lethal Dose In Lethal Dose, the new interactive movie by DonkeyWoman, you play the part of a femme very fatale, carrying out assassinations against whatever poor sap has crossed someone rich enough to make them disappear. But when demons from her past begin to resurface, the choice of targets will soon end up being hers alone. Aesthetically amazing, though heavy on the quick time events.

Scene of the Crime: Dream of Murder A body found in the trunk of a crashed car leads you on a chase for clues and a killer with old motives all over town... as well as attracting the attention of the FBI. The latest installment in Pastel Games' point-and-click noir mystery series ups the body count and provides a solid detective adventure, minus a few bumps along the way.

Cypher A small time data smuggler in the corporate-dominated futuristic city of NeoSushi, Dogeron Kenan's job is to transport passcodes in his cybernetic arm, trying to keep one step ahead of both the lawful and unlawful who want to stop him. But things just went south, and now everyone in the town is out to get him. It's going to be a long night. An excellent piece of interactive fiction by the Cabrera Brothers, with an atmosphere that more than makes up for parser issues.

Rot Gut Your friend deserved a better end than this. Not at the end of the bottle of the tainted poison that the syndicate is trying to pass off as hooch. You may be just one man, but one man with a gun in his hand is often all you need to find some answers. Rot Gut is a action platform shooter by test84, set in a pixelated depiction of 1920's big city gangland. Gameplay is a little generic as shooters go, but it's solidly enjoyable and, more importantly, has atmosphere to spare.

Fade: Case of the Stolen Diamonds The year is 1937. It's a dark time in the city. Fade Haven has fallen prey to a rat burglar who is robbing the town of its precious diamonds. Is there anyone who can help? Time to call in Detective Pete! But of course, he needs your help. Team up with the super sleuth in Fade: Case of the Stolen Diamonds, a unique puzzle game for iPad by Treetop Games. Can you recover all the diamonds and bring the thief to justice?

Anaksha: Dark Angel Santa Lina is an old-fashioned kind of town: big, dark, ugly, and corrupt to its core. One of the small few willing, or even able, to take a stand and protect the helpless is Anaksha, a vigilante sniper dubbed "The Virgo Killer" by the press. A successful businesswoman, the murder of her best friend snapped something in her mind, and so Anaksha took to the streets, a lone huntress with a rifle, dedicated to the destruction of evil, no matter what the cost, ever-pursued by both the police and the criminal elites. Anaksha: Dark Angel is a sniping adventure game by Arif Majothi, and its atmosphere is as thick as blood.

The Man with the Invisible Trousers James was waiting. Waiting for someone to need his skills as a private eye. Or rather, he would have been if someone hadn't murdered the head of his five-person detective team. Radical Dog's quirky new noir-themed puzzle platformer offers a healthy dose of ridiculousness to go along with its mystery.

Gemini Rue Life in the Gemini galaxy isn't easy; war has left its mark on the lives of the people within it, but most of them are more concerned with the all-seeing eyes of the Boryokuden, a crime syndicate that seems to operate outside the law and swiftly deals with any opposition. In this top-notch adventure game, you play as Azriel Odin, a detective on the streets of New Pittsburgh, and Delta-Six, an amnesiac test subject stuck in a sinister training facility, and attempt to stay alive while you uncover a conspiracy that might hit closer to home than you suspect.

The Scene of the Crime: Golden Doll Responding to a report of shots fired, you, a well-known detective, discover a girl dead in an empty beach front house. Whodunnit? You'll need to keep an eye out for the details and use your trusty forensics supplies to find out. Follow the clues and collect the evidence to track down the killer in this stylish point-and-clicker from Pastel Games.

A Case of the Crabs It's been around for a while, so we expect many of you are already familiar with A Case of the Crabs, but if Nick Bounty's first point-and-click adventure missed you, now's a great time to give it a go. It's a hilarious parody of classic detective stories, a noir-but-silly tale of a down-on-his luck gumshoe solving the mystery of a murder and a crate full of crabs.

The Goat in the Grey Fedora The Goat in the Grey Fedora is a strange and offbeat point-and-click adventure with a black and white film-noir atmosphere. The game's highpoint is definitely its sense of humor. Not only that, but it has an actual plotline, which, as the title implies, has to do with a goat. In a grey fedora.
