Swapster's simple physics puzzle premise comes with a twist... remove all nasty purple objects from the screen by using a teleporter gun to swap their places with other shapes. Though light on bells and whistles as well as extraneous elements, Swapster still provides a surprisingly smart and challenging experience thanks to thoughtfully crafted levels that will engage your brain and your reflexes.
Ever wanted to play a pickle-clown bouncing his way into a pool of water? I thought so, and so did Meetreen Games, which is probably why they created the physics puzzle game, Circus. While on the easy side, Circus is a fun, little distraction from your day with cute graphics to boot. Come and help your little pickle friend. The adoring circus-goers await his every bruise and bump.
Who knew sewer-dwelling monsters were so enamoured of toy boats? They have kidnapped your boat and you have to go get it, armed with nothing more than a suction cup toy gun. Use it to knock monsters out of the way, blow up bombs and liberate your toy in this bizarrely entertaining physics puzzle.
Dancing Robots! One night only! If you can reunite heads with bodies that is. Recover the heads of the dancing robots in this one-button action game. Using gravity wells, control your bot head, maneuvering around saw blades and fire spouts. Collect golden bolts along the way. Collect enough bolts to earn stars to open new levels. The dance must go on!
Dragon Quest is one of the easier physics games we've featured and it won't take you long to make your way through it. Most of the puzzles involve finding creative ways to dispatch enemies; a favorite has you dumping a skeleton into a fire pit by way of a wall of barrels, Donkey Kong-style! You also get to mess with a variety of physics-based props like ballistae and drawbridges. There's enough charm in the puzzles to make it worth a look, though. Just be careful... they say dragons have pretty terrible breath. Must be all those knights they eat.
Rustlers are after your bulls! That's like the Wild West version of someone trying to steal your Camaro! In Long Way, a new western tower defense game from Meetreen Games, your job is to get together a posse and show those rustlers what happens to dirty snakes who break the law of the West. Long Way blends classic Tower Defense gameplay with a great upgrade system that adds a lot of longevity. You can develop your posse in a variety of ways, so even though the game can be fairly difficult there are several paths to success. Trying different strategies goes a long way toward keeping the game fresh.
