Roboquest

Roboquest is a roguelite looter shooter with strong Borderlands vibes developed by RyseUp Studios. You play as a lovable yet deadly robot as you help your human companion solve the mystery behind a robot uprising.

Perfect Tower 2 is a Frankenstein's monster of a game (in a good way). It is part tower defense, part idle game, and part management sim. It's an ambitious sequel to the original Perfect Tower, developed by Fire Sword Studios.

PT2 expands upon the original Perfect Tower, and it makes a number of changes -- some of which we really enjoyed. Others, not so much.

The voxel aesthetic of Perfect Tower 2 is used to great effect, and the way its visual style integrates into the loose narrative world is a nice detail (looking at you, Cubos). Additionally, seeing your block city grow as you unlock new features feels gratifying.

The basic tower defense formula remains more or less the same. Having the player upgrade a central tower, defending against enemy cube monsters. While Perfect Tower 2 does make some changes to this formula, not all of these changes elevated the fun factor.

It's like if the 1979 Atari classic Asteroids ate a billion kitchen sinks, turned into a black hole, and gained sentience. The build variety in this game is truly spectacular, allowing players the ability to customize their ships in a variety of creative ways (with a bit of luck...it is a roguelike, after all).

Do you want a glass cannon that carpet bombs the field with mines? No problem. Want those mines to release homing missiles on detonation? Sure. Not inflicting enough fire damage? Add it in! Nova Drift's systems are robust ones, to be sure. This game is a theorycrafter's dream, an achievement further underscored by the diminutive size of the development studio; it's a solo-dev, after all.

In a debut of a fan-beloved original, Day of the Tentacle, Return of the Tentacle delivers a thrilling, pun and comedy filled point-and-click adventure. Purple Tentacle is back with an ambitious plan to conquer the world, seek revenge, and worst of all, wants to make sure to kill you first! What's more there are the two telltale signs that it's not some lookalike or wannabe. One: he left a note scrawled on purple paper! And two: it's signed at the bottom, "Insincerely Yours, Purple!"

BestLuck is a mystery emotional atmospheric adventure game. In the infinite growing forest, you only lean onto the girl to find a path and solve the puzzle by witnessing clues that are visible only through certain door frames. Its atmosphere has ambiguities between what horror-game has and what romance game narrative goes.

You are a henchman in the infamous Gotham City, and unfortunately, a henchman seeking a new job. Dissatisfied with your current boss, you think surely it can't be too difficult to land a new gig. After all, what's the worst they can have you do to land the position? Spit in someone's face? Toilet paper their house? Get reference letters from your previous boss? All nope, nope, and nope, but you're getting warmer. Who would have guessed that your task would be a job interview?

Made for the GBJAM 6 by Daniel Moreno, RoboBlaster is a very bit tribute to the GameBoy version of MegaMan. The little RoboBlaster acts, handles and shoot exactly like MegaMan which, in my opnion, makes it very familiar and very cute. The game acts like a very solid MegaMan clone, and I honestly think that when the dev puts more time in this project (this game was made in 4 days) he would have a solid full game upon his hands.

Toodee liked to walk left and right, he also liked to jump. It was a good day. Topdee also liked to walk around. But instead of jumping, he liked to push crates and boxes around. Toodee and Topdee were quite different, but they both ended up walking into a portal. That's how the story of Toodee and Topdee begins. Made for the Ludum Dare 41, Toodee and Topdee takes platforming to a new level. You control Toodee in a platform/sideways mode, while Topdee is controlled from a birdseye perspective.

A game about an adorable kitten, coupled with an amazing music score, creative story, and an absolutely beautiful art style?? I'd say HECK YES! Cat games are few and far between in a dog loving world, and GOOD cat games are even harder to find. So if you're a cat lover like me, or even if you're not, don't pass up on Knotty Story!

Would you go to a remote island for a month to get college credit? This might make visiting Pinewood Island seem like a good deal until you find out that the island has no cell phone access, no internet and no boats to take you back. And just when you think things couldn't possibly get any worse, your professor is murdered while you're stuck on the island. Now there's a one month wait until a boat returns and you can leave. How will you spend it?

Imagine strolling down a road, minding your own business. You just went grocery shopping and are holding a few bottles of your favorite drink. And suddenly, out of nowhere, you trip and fall flat to your face. When you take a quick look, you'll find out it's actually an amphora that made you trip, and to make things worse a giant hand descends down from the clouds. That particular hand suddenly orders you to climb Mount Olympus to deliver that amphora to the owner of the hand. Why the hand isn't picking the amphora up right there, has me stumped. Does this sound weird? Giant hands descending from the sky, tripping over amphoras that aren't in use anymore. Well, you're not wrong, but this is the story of young Heraclos and in ancient Greece, things like this happened all the time.

Don't Starve Together is an inexpensive game that is easy for anyone to pick up. As an addition to the Don't Starve series of dark humor survival strategy games, Don't Starve Together has an expansive ever-changing world with many ways to play. In the original Don't Starve, after choosing a character to play as, you had to figure out how to survive a ridiculous and deadly environment with limited instructions. But playing through mysterious potentially-fatal nights and fighting monsters makes you realize - your odds of survival would be a lot better with someone watching your back.

This is where Don't Starve Together comes in. The game allows for up to six players to join in on the chaotic fun on one server. The gameplay is similar to other games in the series, but you don't need to know a previous game to play. The controls are simple, the game play is much more challenging.
