The photography of Mateusz Skutnik appears again in this latest installment of 10 Gnomes (#5), a hidden object, point-and-click game series from the Submachine creator himself. This time we adventure in the shipyard, which has been an inspiration for him when creating the Submachine series since the very first installment. So much so that he decided to share it in this set of photographs he took on a covert mission there.
If you're new to the series, the objective is always the same: find 10 gnomes in 10 minutes. Ready. Set. Go!

Yet another excellent game! 6/10 for my first attempt which is pretty amazing for me!
Nice enough game. It would be nice if the camera wasn't moving around nervously all the time. One can get a little seasick from the constant fidgety motion. Obviously I could stop moving the mouse about like a madman, but that doesn't really help to find the hotpots. ;)
I'm so glad there's going to be a whole year of 1o gnomes!
I only found 8/10... this was the first one I didn't get them all the first time around, there's so much more area to click, and some of the zoom-in spots don't seem to have gnomes. Still love the little guys though!
You found 7? I could only find 5. Too many dead ends for me; I guess I'm not methodical enough to track them all down. Lovely little games, though; thank you, Mateusz Skutnik (and Jay).
Yay, finished it! That one was so tricky! Going from left to right, the gnomes are hidden as follows:
1.
Go to the wall of the building on the far left hand side of the screen, and the first gnome should be sitting on what looks like a fuse box.
2.
hidden in the rim of one of the old boats on the left hand side of the screen.
3.
Hidden inside part of the metal structure next to the boats
4.
Clicking left of the building with the rows of windows and boxes will get you to a scene with a large ship. Go there and the gnome should be hidden in the pipes near the top of the screen.
5.
Click at the BASE of the metal structure in front of the building with the broken windows. Keep clicking to the right and you should come to a sleeping gnome on top of a cog.
6.
Click on the small roofed structure next to the tower base. Looking carefully at the roof you should see a hat poking out... yup, another gnome :)
7.
Click on the building behind the metal tower, and a gnome is hidden in what appears to be a round air vent
8.
Click carefully next to the building with the broken windows, and you will come to a grassy patch with a wooden reel. A gnome is sitting on some hose at its base.
9.
click on the building to the far right of the scene. One of the gnomes is hidden in a hole in a white structure on the rightmost edge of the building.
10.
the last gnome is sitting on a tap attached to some piping on the building on the right hand side of the screen.

Thanks, Laureny! There's also visual spoilers here if anyone is scratching their head as to where "such-and-such a pipe" is. (Part of the problem of giving a walkthrough for these kinds of games is that the buildings look very much alike and have more than one fixture of the same type.)
@joye: the last one is in the same place as your #3, i.e. second picture, left circle.
Zoom in on the base of the tower. If you go right, you'll find a gnome sleeping on some cogs. If you go left and zoom in on the right edge of the little roof over those fuse-box like thingies, you'll find another gnome hiding underneath.
I'm a fan of the Submachine series, so seeing the source of so many of the visual elements is pretty cool.
Anyway, it seems as if these gnomes games keep getting harder...Only 6/10 on my first try this time. And the gnomes get angrier and angrier when you find them. An escalating battle of man vs. gnome.
There has been so little really interesting stuff recently--way too many shmups, way too many platformers--you can not BELIEVE the little dance of joy I did when I checked in and found a game that is actually going to be FUNNNNNNNN!!!!!
