The streams of light represent sound particles that you bend toward boxes until the audio levels are full. When the flow is correct, the audio levels fill up with the proper color and all the parts of the music will play. Delightful, brilliant and stunning.
Why we picked it: Once in a great while, a game comes along that's so engaging, it's like a portal to another reality. Auditorium is one of those rare gems, taking a simple action puzzler and plunging it into the isolating depths of time and space. The player is encouraged with what has to be the most enticing reward system ever devised: as the puzzle approaches completion, more and more layers are added to the lush ambient soundtrack, providing a comforting touch of humanity in an abstract etherial universe. Auditorium provides broad accessibility through its simplicity, yet offers aural and visual rewards like few games can. Cipher Prime has been winning awards left and right for Auditorium, so it should come as no surprise that both the JIG crew and audience voted it an overwhelming favorite.
