Weekday Escape

DoraDon't listen to any computer animated camels. It ain't hump day... it's Weekday Escape Day! Forget your worries and your woes, your obligations and your responsibilities, for at least as long as it takes you to break out of the digital confines of three very different yet cunningly constructed escape games. This week! no1game doesn't even need a key to lock you up in this deceptively empty looking box. MayMay wants to blind you with science, and maybe some colours too. And Esklavos strands you somewhere mystical while going whoooooooommmmm in your ear. Sounds like a good Wednesday to me!

Color ChangingColor Changing - MayMay is known for cute and clean escape games, but will you get free from their clutches when you must master science?! This time, you find yourself trapped with some lab equipment and other odd apparatuses, and as usual, there's no changing cursor or real direction to help you out. Not that that should stop you, since experimenting is what real sciencery is all about, right? Am I right? Fellow sciencers?... No, you can't see my PhD. ... no, yours is written in crayon!

Find the Escape-Men 163: In the Elevator 3Find the Escape-Men 163: In the Elevator 3 - no1game gives their classic and well-loved series a bit of a face lift by making the visuals a little sleeker and tacking on an extra ending this time around. You're stuck in an elevator because a mysterious green person destroyed one of the doors. You'll really want to click everywhere you can, since this deceptively spartan box has items and new viewpoints hidden in every nook and cranny. Leave no smug poster unturned!

Nodes Machine EscapeNodes Machine Escape - When you're in the mood for something mysterious and mystical, you can always count on Esklavos, who is all about dreamy colour palettes and ambiguous acoustics. This time around, to escape from your very Dagobah-ish surroundings, you'll need to decipher cryptic panels and assemble strange machines if you want to get back to where you belong. Just pay attention to your surroundings, figure out how to use the bizarre tools you pick up, and you'll be fine.

Oh no! Where is everybody? Managed 'Nodes Machine escape', no problems. Now trying escape men, got five with little trouble but can't see where to go next. Got to go to work now so I'll have a little ponder and see how I go when I get back.

I finished Color Changing, but am wondering

where the clue for the two lower round dials was - I saw the clue for the three top ones, and brute forced the bottom ones...

Reply

I have found 6 little green men, but I suspect I'm stuck as well.
Time for a coffee and a think.

Reply

The second part of the clue was

on the second flower

Back from work, now got 7 green men, and finished 'Colour changing'. I'll go and put the kettle on , that helps!

Reply

Got all 10 men, but can't finish the ending sequence.

Could you give me a slight nudge re the

OX code, feel it should be to do with the lift buttons but can't quite get there

Helen

Pay attention to the type of numbers marked by either X or O

Anyway I'm stuck with eight men which I mostly got by clicking wildly all over

Reply

Stuck with nine escape men and a box of melon drops.

Just got home from an exhausting 3rd shift. stuck with 4. My brain hurts.

Ok, created a profile just because this EM is killing me! I've found a few though so here's what I have:

Click on the top of the button panel to see three stick figures and grab the first green man.

Turn right and look at the poster. Second green man is running down the stairs.

Click the lower right corner of the poster and it will lift up. Click the bottom of the ledge at the top and you'll find the third green man.

Click the top of the ledge on the bottom to find a screwdriver.

Turn right again to face the back of the elevator. Click the floor where you see a panel. Use the screwdriver to open and find the melon drops. Fourth green man is on the package.

Before leaving, click on the inside of the floor panel. One side sounds hollow, right? We'll come back to that later. Click to view your screwdriver, and pull out the metal part. Flip it so it becomes a flat-head screwdriver. It's a bit random so just keep clicking until it goes. Use the screwdriver on the bottom panel to find a handle.

Click the panel you just removed to turn it over. Pick up the note. Click to grab the fifth green man. Notice the pattern of x's and o's

Face the back wall again and use the handle on the wall. Find the white suit. I don't know what this does yet but I guess you can put it on.

Turn right so you're facing the wall with three ledge things. Click the top of the middle ledge to find a bottle of water. Click the left side of the label on the bottle for the sixth green man.

Turn right to the front wall and look at the button panel. Using the signs from the note, click the ones with the o's. That's all the evens, and don't forget UL because that'd be floor 2. Hear the ding and collect the seventh green man.

This one's a bit tricky. Look at the note again. Click the circle under 0, or click all the o's starting at 8 down to 0 and the green man will fill in again. Grab him for the eighth green man.

That's all I've got so far. Must do real work now, but I'll come back!

oh Duh!

Face the button panel and click all the odd numbers, including LL since it's floor 1, to get green man number nine.

Wow finally and it was so simple! Hate when that happens.

View the stairs poster, click the top right corner to grab the final escape man.

When you have all 10 men it'll change into green bull drink mix. You will face the door and see someone talking. Note the pattern of the letters.

Use the letter pattern on the door buttons just under the floor number O=open-arrows pointing out, C=closed-arrows pointing in.

When the cops talk to you hopefully you are wearing the white suit, mix the water and the drink powder and give it to them. Then give them the melon drops.

SaraG I'm very confused about how you got your eighth green man.

Should I put the note down somewhere or use a specific object on it? Nothing happens when I click the circles.

expired - for the 8th man

You really just need to flip the card over by clicking in the lower left hand corner. The instructions about the circles is a bit of a red (green?) herring.

Thanks SaraG!
Now I could finish as well. It all looked just Japanese to me :-)

Sorry expired. I wasn't really sure how I got that one to work either apparently. :)
Thank, Kublai.

WARNING! There is a bug in Color Changing that makes it unwinnable in some cases. If you solve a certain puzzle before you use a certain item, the item disappears from inventory.

The bottle of water disappears from my inventory when I open the leftmost cabinet under the glass cabinets.

I don't know if there is a clue somewhere that I was supposed to get before knowing the code for that cabinet, but I guessed it...

It had a very limited number of letters, so I thought it might be a word. "Plan" was my second guess after I couldn't do "pink" (the color of the boxes).

Thanks SaraG! Couldn't have done it without you. In the Elevator 3 is just not my type of logic.

To get 2nd ending:

Don't mix the Green Bull mix with the water.

And don't think you can necessarily avoid the Color Changing bug by doing things in a slightly different order.

If you solve the four-letter code before you open the right side of the orange cabinet, the water bottle won't be there when you do.

I ended up escaping with a little brute force but without opening either of the first two glass cabinets. Gotta say this one wasn't up to MayMay's usual standards.

Thanks SaraG and kublai,I finally made it out.

I expected the game to be way more focused on finding different number combinations so I spent quite a lot of time trying to think what "green water" and "melon drops" could possibly mean.

To avoid the bug JoshuaXD and abfdrumz noticed:

You need to make sure that the left cupboard of the pair is basically the last thing you open. The clue for it is the last clue you're supposed to find. The snag is that the clue for the right cupboard is so subtle you could almost brute force the left door before you figure out how to open the right door. But if you get the right door open early, everything plays out smoothly.

If you're really stuck on the right door

You're looking for a three digit number, but you aren't looking for three numbers written anywhere.

You need to find three things, from which you can get three single-digit numbers, side-by-side.

The hint for the right cupboard is visible on the same screen as the cupboards are.

I am stuck Nodes Machine escape. I have

a triangular piece, a digital spanner, an earthdrill (which is 'too short'), a detector, and a rope. I can click on a stick but can't make it work with anything. In fact I can't make anything work with anything.

Any help would be appreciated.

At this point, there's only one thing left in your inventory that you can do anything with.

The triangle. You just need to find where to put it.

There is one place with a triangle shaped notch hiding in among other randomly shaped notches.

On the machine you saw on the first screen of the game.

Once you figure out where to use it, you're only a couple small puzzles away from finally getting

That stick you've been trying so hard to get.

@vetala
