Happy September, escape amigos! It's my pleasure to tell you that from here on out, every edition of Weekday Escape will be pumpkin spice flavoured. Just really, you know, luxuriate in it. Let it seem into your pores. Buy some pumpkin spice flavoured bacon. Wear pumpkin spice scented deodorant. Think pumpkin spice thoughts. Where are you going, pumpkin spice hivemate? Neither Vitamin Hana, nor Rukonohako or no1game can save you. ONE OF US. ONE OF US.
Find the Escape-Men Part 163: Eel 4 - no1game knows that all you need to have a good time is you, yourself, and... uh... still you, I guess, plus about ten little green men hidden around the private dining room you're chilling out in. Have a bite to eat, don't get electrocuted, watch some TV (if you can turn it on!), and eventually find a way out. Just make sure to check every crack and corner, since you never know where those green goons are hiding.
Free the Birds 2 - Vitamin Hana knows how to keep things cute and clever, and once again escape isn't all about you, but rather the birds locked up in cages who need rescuing. This ain't your ordinary menagerie, however, and not just because "menagerie" is a rather grandiose term for three scraggly green parrots. You'll need to hunt down codes to crack the locks that seem to be everywhere, naturally, and then deal with that alarming tape all over the door. Godspeed, my friend of fine feathered friends.
Escape 1 Kotori - Rukonohako is new to us, so lets give them a good old fashioned JayisGames welcome by staring at them lingeringly in an expectant silence broken only by heavy breathing! Here you're locked in with only a single view (minus closer looks at things), and it's a doozy... at a glance, you can see buttons, switches, and locks everywhere, and closer inspection only reveals more and lots of hidden clues. Man, someone really does not want you out of this room. Do you think it's the birds? Look at them. Silent. Watching. Judgioh, they're fake? Nevermind.
We love escape games, and our readers love talking about them and sharing hints! How about you? Let us know what you think, ask for clues, or help out other players in the comments below.
Escape Men
Stuck on the last one.
Must be to do with the wobbly cushion.
I suspect the television test card screen is related.
Remote is the only thing in my inventory that works.
For the cushion,
check out the eel scroll on the wall
.
I'm stuck with Free the Birds 2, I've only managed to free one red bird.
Have you clicked on the right side of the shelf?
Then use the marker on the board
Never mind, I just didn't examine each object closely enough.
Didn't update soon enough after my initial post. zombiebee that's what I was missing, yes
Escape 1 Kotori
I'm stuck on
the blue panel :/ I've already solved the orange-y and the red one, but now I can't seem to find the clue for the last code :(
Anyone got a hint for me? :) *getting another cup of coffee and hoping for the magic of POP to happen*
P.S. (offtopic praise ^^) :
I'm always looking forward to Weekday Escape (and most other (escape) games on jig :)). Mostly, I'm too "late" to contribute helpful stuff or just too shy to comment °_°, but thanks a lot for all your hints and help, you guys :) I really appreciate it :) Also, thanks to Jayisgames for finding und reviewing all those awesome games :D I always love to do a little escape during study breaks *totally not procrastinating XD*
OMG! PoP! XD
I can't believe I missed that. *facepalm* :D
Care to share, Nessi? I am also stuck there.
I found the clue in the safe, but cannot figure it out.
E1K has me stumped, too. I think I'm where Nessi was.
I can't figure out the code for the blue panel. I've seen the hint in the right side of the safe, but I'm not sure how I'm supposed to interpret it.
Wow, I guess POP works after all. In reference to my last comment:
Combine that clue with the OPEN/CLOSE words by the red button.
Oh, sorry, I had gone afk :/
But soniclover came to the rescue :D
My main problem was
that I simply didn't find the other clue in the safe. I was clicking everywhere around the room because I suspected a sneaky hotspot somewhere, but completely forgot to look inside the safe again... XD
soniclover is right. You need to combine those clues and "use" the letters upside down as numbers, getting the code
7303 :)
I'm at the same stage on Excape Men GlixD except
I already have the one under the cushion!
So presumably it's a different one I'm missing...
I really enjoyed Escape 1 Kotori. There were some clever puzzles in there, not your run-of-the-mill stuff.
Perhaps it's the one I was missing...
Do you see the very bottom of a white rectangle above the double sliding doors?
I am stuck in EM163 with the code for the
gourd shaped object. I see the
OxxO xOOx xx pattern in the newsflash but of course it doesn't work forward or backward. I also see the Zzz pattern at the bottom of the gourd but I can't figure it out? Does it have to do with that yellow Z shaped swoosh under the station logo? If so... how??? It's my last EM too. Any help?
spike21 -
You should be able to take the top off the bottle once you input the code
crestlove -
No, that one I have!
spike21-
You might want to check the code again; I think you're missing a 0.
Korvar the Fox-
Have you looked inside the remote control? Under the lid of the toothpicks? (The last two I found.)
Escape 1 Kotori - so stuck:
The red box code - uses the numbers with the shapes, right? I've got the three numbers, the first of which has TWO DIGITS, and the clue at the top of the door. What am I missing?
spike21 - IT WAS THAT SECOND ONE!!! Thanks you!!!
Ugh, the relief when you get that last Escape Man - it's like when you finally get that word that's been on the tip of your tongue...
No help for the red panel on E1K?
Re: the red panel on E1K...
You only see HALF of the shapes, right?
I'm showing the same thing, with the same non-result. Glitch, maybe?
@korver hee hee yes
Ah geez
Yay. I enjoyed Kotori. The puzzles are twisty-logical!
What do I need a hammer in Kotori for? That glass just doesn't break.
For the glass to break
you need to solve 3 puzzles. On the left side of the red button under glass, there are 3 grey buttons which are actually lights. As you solve each puzzle, a grey button lights up. When they are all lighted, then you can break the glass.
Help!! I cant get the code to work on the bottle in Em
Thanks Dora!
Kotori is quite good, and not so easy, especially for first try!
I've checked their site, and a second one is available, and more complicated, really interesting game! I recommend for anyone, but I must admit, I've stucked yesterday, and I'm going to continue right now...
Stuck on kotori
Force opened the red safe; I never found the number for the first shape.
I have a
hammer
and a
red box with arrows
I have opened the bottom green drawer.
I am not seeing what to do next nor any clues to help me open the
red box
in my inventory.
You'd take a good look at
the coloured panels (orange, red, yellow), they give you the clue for the red box with arrows! If it's not enough:
the number of stars in the panels' corners show the pushing order of the arrows
Great EM, Dora!
Can't wait to play the second and third installments of Weekday Escape!
KOTORI question regarding THREE SHAPES:
Hex = 8 Circle = 4 Square = 14
Arrow pointing right indicates that we read them in that order: 8414.
Shapes are in half, indicating we use half values?? 427? 4207?
In any case, nothing seems to work. What is going on??
The order of the shapes
is at the top of the door frame. So the order is actually
Square Circle Hexagon.
You're right about the numbers and the idea about halving them; That makes the code
724
The arrow is pointing to the safe in which you input the code (although the shapes at the top of the door frame are also read from left to right, so I guess it works for that too).
