Feature to take your tiiiiiiiiime, new games every weeeeeeeeeeek, lock you in a room, escape'll chase away your gloom, Wednesday has what you seeeeeeeeeek. ... well, I never told you I was Howard Ashman. I'm just one woman working in her jammies, trying to do what she can for the greater good, which in this case is serve up your Weekday Escape! This week: cuddly little yellow peeps hiding in a relaxing garden, a house that takes its teddy bear security very seriously, and a return to one of the most perplexing (and distressing... where's all the food?!) dining rooms around.
Chicks Hide and Seek Escape 23 - Apparently Yuuri is like some benevolent, non-sleepover-ruining Bloody Mary, because I was just thinking it was about time for us to see another one of these painfully cute, sweet little games. Explore the tranquil garden and solve puzzles while you hunt for soft, fluffy yellow peeps. What could be finer? Now to try my "summon an escape game developer by thinking about them" trick on Detarou...
Find the Five Bears! - You know if we're talking about cute, we've got to bring Vitamin Hana in, and this time around they've got you rummaging through a few rooms with a rather overzealous amount of locks on the furniture to, as you may have surmised from the title, find five bears before you can leave. Incidentally, this is also the excuse I tried to give my trainer this morning when she wanted me to come in at six AM. For such a tiny little thing, her fists are SO hard...
Escape from the Strange Dining Room 2 - My day is always made 100% more fun when it includes a developer whose name is fun to shout, and Hottategoya definitely fits the bill. Once again, we're trapped in a very yellow dining room, and once again, there is no hummus or spinach dip or chicken wings anywhere how do you expect me to work like this?! What there is, however, is a rather prevalent amount of puzzles, so get to crackin', and then get in the car, kiddo... we're going to Cheesecake Factory.
We love escape games, and our readers love talking about them and sharing hints! How about you? Let us know what you think, ask for clues, or help out other players in the comments below.
For Chicks Hide and Seek,
the A~ clue means to use the clue on the left post of the covered area (I don't whether y'all call it a gazebo, patio, pergola or whatnot) in alphabetical order.
Hmmm. On Chicks Hide & Seek, I got Catherine's clue and solved that puzzle, but I'm still one chick short. There's nothing in my inventory and no obvious (to me) unsolved puzzles. Where IS that little chickie?
Find the Five Bears
The bit you may also get stuck on is where to use the stick with the holes in it.
Try the left hand side of the cupboard near the window. The rest should be somewhat straightforward after that.
Checklist from what I can remember
One hiding under that one rock where the waterfall is (possibly furthest to the right)
One in the middle of a flower once you divert the water
One in the treehouse once you move the ladder
One on roof
One hiding under bench seat (click from the ladder side view)
One in boat
One behind red door
One listening to music
One under indoor plant
One in locked box
Thanks, Catherine! The one I missed was actually the first one you mentioned -- I thought I checked there, too!
The part I'm stuck at on the bears is after I get the bear from the clue from the lights where do I find any tools?
Have a closer look at the only thing you've collected so far.
NVM. I found a clue elswhere.
I didn't know we had to undress the bear
Thank you!
Dining room Clue
The biggest place I got stuck was with the 3 digit code ...
look at the glasses on the wall....
hmmm some of that construction looks odd..looks like numbers? which do I use?
... There were glasses someplace else that looked like these....
For the Chick Hide and seek, don't make the same mistakes I did.
The lily pads ARE NOT clues for Left/Right, despite the fact that they look that way.
DO NOT try to associate the letters WAN/PIYO (row of three/row of four) with the lily pads (also row of three/row of four).
the arrow on the clue DOES NOT tell you the order in which to read the letters, or the lily pads.
Use ONLY the letters in the clue when opening the dam.
WAN = Left button, PIYO = Right button, ~A tells you to press in alphabetical order, then red smile to activate the dam.
Thanks, very helpful.
Did anyone else get the feeling that the scenes in this Chicks were out of order? The river didn't really line up as presented.
Thanks, Catherine, I was one chick short until your checklist!
Utterly stumped at the very beginning of the dining room.
I assume I'm supposed to start with the three-digit code based on the clues that matt describes above, but I can't find any place to enter it.
The three cups in the cabinet with the clue match the three white button on the floor panel, so I think that's the place, but
When I try clicking each button the number of times indicated by the code, it doesn't work. Is there some other way to do it? I think the code is
569
Never mind...found a video walkthrough online, and discovered that I'd missed
the paper clue in the glass rack. And the three white buttons correspond to
the glasses on the table, not the ones in the cabinet.
In Find the Bears, I was completely stumped at the last puzzle, the one behind the middle couch pillow. The puzzle shows
a square, a triangle and a circle with the numbers 16248241688 above them.
I finally figured out that
after you put the cd over the circle with numbers you find out that the circle is 16, the triangle is 8 and the square is 24.
All you have to do is to
separate the numbers into 16, 24, 8, 24, 16, 8 and 8.
Then you have to
click: circle, square, triangle, square, circle, triangle, triangle. That's the solution.
I'm stuck on Find the Five Bears
The blue, pink and purple puzzle doesnt seem to work. I tried to follow the window clue clicking purple-blue-purple-pink-pink-blue-pink, but nothing happens when I click OK.. Am missing something?
Nevermind, I tried again and it worked...
