Weekday Escape

DoraWhat-ho, beleaguered weekday warriors! It's Wednesday and you're looking a bit peckish for, well, non-weekday work/school/drudgery. Might I interest you in a fine free escape game Apéritif or three? This week we've got some cuddly yellow babies from Yuuri, a tropical paradise from Vitamin Hana, and, uh... well, a whole mess of buttons scattered all over the place by Tototo Room. If you are what you eat, what are you once you've devoured these short and sweet escape games? Why, someone with impeccable taste, of course!

Chicks Hide and Seek Escape 22Chicks Hide and Seek Escape 22 - You can always count on Yuuri to serve up something sweet, and honestly, what day isn't improved by searching for fluffy baby chicks in a park full of flowers? And sad see-saw sheep. Don't forget the sad see-saw sheep. There's no changing cursor, but in the pursuit of finding and cuddling all the little yellow chicks, no obstacle is too great, which, by the way, doesn't work as a defense against getting banned from a petting zoo when they find your pockets full of peeps.

Vitamin HanaEscape the Island - I'm not sure how you got stranded on this tropical island to begin with, but I like to imagine Vitamin Hana throwing a bag on your head, tossing you on the beach, and then rowing away while laughing maniacally, because, let's face it, escape game developers are like two steps away from being Bond villains anyway. Hunt around for clues and solve the puzzles you need to in order to find a way off!

Button Escape 32Button Escape 32 - Eleven buttons are keeping you prisoner inside Tototo Room's spartan lair, and you'll need to find and click on all of them in order to escape, though that's easier said than done when many of them are locked away behind puzzles, codes, and... tubes? Hmmm. Is this the first escape game set in the Jetsons? I believe we were promised robotic maids and dogs that walk on dangerous outdoor floating treadmills, sir/and/or/madam.

We love escape games, and our readers love talking about them and sharing hints! How about you? Let us know what you think, ask for clues, or help out other players in the comments below.

Button Escape annoyed me when I had figured out the order some numbers were supposed to be in for a lock based on visual cues, but it wouldn't allow me to open the lock in question until I found the magical spot to click that showed me an additional clue for the solution I had already figured out.

Note you have the link from the picture on the main page going to week 74, not week 75. Also the image height seem to be set wrong.

I think I am stuck in the same place:

I have a thumbtack, and am trying to open the pink box. I have the numbers from the poster, and the order of the numbers from the bottom of the panda box. What is the thumbtack for?

shanisek

what might you use the pin on?

look again at the poster . . .

burst the balloons in the poster with the pin

I managed to do it without any hints for once!

Man this Hide-and-Seek is riddled with pixel hunts.

I have no items and only nine chicks; fresh out of ideas.

Chicks I've found:

Swingset
Flower bed
Fountain
Gate behind fountain
Party ball
Beside shed
Inside shed box
Inside bamboo
One other (maybe was just loose inside shed?)

Have you tried tickling the ghost several times?

That would do it, thanks.

What's the pump in the tent for in Island Escape, any use?

@jayisgamed,
there's a use, but you can't move the pump. It'll come later

Hint for Escape the Island

There's more than one place to go underwater

A really fine collection of brain-candies this week :)

I need help with that silly sun box in Island Escape. I can't seem to find the hint for it.

Reply

Never mind...I figured it out...(feeling less than brilliant)

Sun box hint (I had to go to the video walkthrough, and now I feel less than brilliant too)

There are two other "sun" things.

The one in the sky.

The one on the key card.

Put them together.

Escape the Island
My yellow box is empty, so umm......

Starting over and opening the yellow box before I solved the color box made the problem not happen. Don't guess the color code before opening the yellow box.

Chicks: this has turned into the worst kind of pixel hunt, so I am missing something obvious. I have used everything but the

wire screen

and I cannot figure out how to access the

ball at the top of the arch

or the

chick in the fountain.

This is where I rage-quit.

@JCS

I have no idea if you'll find this, but I was in exactly the same place you were - but then I found the answer!

You have to pixel-hunt in the close-up of the bamboo, where you used the saw.

There's a stick of bamboo you can get. From there you should be able to get everything
