Also free for Android and iOS, Pine Studio's Vineyard Escape traps you inside a work room that would be perfectly pleasant if not for all that glorious sunlight and those rolling hills you can see outside. I mean, sure, you've got tools and a wine press lying around, so you could do some actual work, but... outsiiiiiiiiiiiiide. And hey, who says opening the door is your only objective... ? Click around to interact with things, keeping an eye out for a changing cursor and a pop up text, and click items at the bottom of the screen in your inventory as you gather them, to use or combine with one another. The fist in your inventory doesn't actually represent some heinous murder trophy you've been locked away for, it's used for "force", so try it on things you think might need a little muscle to get by. Vineyard Escape might be one of Pine Studio's loveliest games, with lovely golden light pouring in the windows and a warm, cozy design, though the soundtrack is a little too obnoxiously loud and "regal" for the setting. Like a lot of games from Pine Studio, you may find yourself occasionally butting up against odd logical leaps, if only because some of the ways you need to use or combine items aren't going to be your instinctive reaction, and there really should be a way to reset one or two of the puzzles back to their original state. Still, though it isn't a particularly long game, it's definitely a pleasant and relaxing one, making Vineyard Escape a beautiful, sunlit break no matter where you are.

The artwork in this game is beautiful, but I'm stuck.
I have six spokes - two in the wheel arch, four on the table outside of it. I have gone round and round and round pixel hunting trying to find the others - is anyone able to provide a list of where they could be?
The only items I have left are:
the two steel bars and the rope
so I think I've picked up everything I can.
Thanks!
WALKTHROUGH
You start facing a wine press, a bucket, and a work bench. Take the shears from the bucket. Take the wheel spoke from the right-hand window. Click the work bench to zoom in. Take the chisel, then click the red arrow to back up.
Turn right. You're facing a bunch of barrels. Take the wheel arch from under the barrel pyramid. Take the wheel spoke from near the top of the pyramid. Take the far-right bottle of wine on the bottom shelf.
Note the two barrels with dot patterns.
Note also the locked door to the right.
Turn right. You're facing a cabinet with two circular devices on the wall. Take the wheel spoke on the floor to the left of the cabinet. Take the steel pole leaning against the right side of the cabinet.
There's a box inside the cabinet, but you can't get it.
Examine the circular devices. Note that the black dots can be moved. Clicking one of the interior dots will rotate all the dots around it.
Turn right. You're facing a dinner table. Take the wheel spoke from under the table. Take the hammer from the middle of the table, and the carrot from the left side.
The barrel puzzle: Remember the patterns on the barrels, and reproduce them on the circular devices on the wall.
For the left-hand device, go to the second row and click the second dot from the left until the patern matches the barrel. (You'll know you have it right when the view backs up.)
For the right-hand device, press the buttons in this order: second row third dot, second row second dot (twice), fourth row second dot (three times), third row fourth dot, second row third dot (three times).
Take the box from the cabinet.
Opening the box: None of the tools in your inventory will do it. You need another tool in your environment.
Put the box in the wine press. Click the press's handle to crush the box open.
Take the key from the box, then use the key to open the locked door to the right of the barrels. Go through the door.
You're facing a horse, a door, and a staircase. The door is nailed shut.
Note the rope tied to the column left of the horse.
The door: Combine the hammer and chisel in your inventory. Use them on the nails in the door. After the door is open, take the wheel spoke and hay from inside.
The rope: You can't use the shears on it, but something in your inventory can be made sharp.
Use force (the hand on the far left of your inventory) on the bottle to break it. Use the sharp broken bottle to cut the rope.
The horse: feed the carrot to the horse. It will move to the left so you can see the wagon. Put the hay in the horse's feeder box in the bottom left. The horse is now in front of the wagon and ready to go.
Take the wheel arch and wheel spoke from the wagon.
Note that the wagon is missing a wheel.
Click the stairs to go back into the room.
The wheel: Go to the work bench. You should have two wheel arches, a steel pole, a rope, shears, and six wheel spokes in your inventory.
Put the wheel arches on the bench.
Put the wheel spokes on the bench (outside the combined arches).
You're still missing a couple of spokes. Use the shears on the steel pole, then put the cut pole on the work bench as well.
Put the wheel spokes in the middle of the arches, noting that their sides are notched to fit together in a certain way.
Use the rope on the completed wheel to secure it, then take the wheel.
Take the completed wheel back downstairs. Use it on the carriage, then click the carriage to escape.
Thanks, nerdypants - that was really helpful :-)
Just a little bit frustrating that
I had tried the steel bars *inside* the wheel arch, just hadn't tried putting them on the bench first. So I'd known what to do, just hadn't clicked in exactly the right place. I'd therefore then assumed that I needed the bars to replace the axle instead...
it was frustrating that even though
I had all the wheel spokes, when I put them on the work table, one went missing! It might have been a glitch because only after restarting the game was the problem solved.
That being said, it was rather amusing that
the cart rolled away backwards with no horse and I thought... OH NO! but apparently I had successfully completed the game. It really made me wonder...
