towermoai.gifJohnBTower of Moai is a quirky flash game from Takahiro Miyazawa of team SKT, the creators of Nest of Moai. With simple gameplay and an almost frantic feel, Tower of Moai is as entertaining as it is... weird. The goal is to save scrambling moai statues stranded on top of a wobbly tower. As the moai statues move the tower bends with their weight. Use the mouse to guide the platform and try to keep it beneath the swinging ladder.

As if dancing moai and a wobbling tower weren't enough, from time to time huge objects will fall from the sky and crash the party. Moai can be squashed and the tower will swing wildly until it dumps the object.

Both Tower of Moai and Nest of Moai are short games that are simple and easy to play. Both also have an outlandish sense of humor with whimsical background music and random events that seem so out of place they're funny. Giant crab, anyone? Although the game is in Japanese, all you need to know to play is to move the mouse to swing the tower and rescue 100 moai in 90 seconds to continue to the next stage. A great five minute game you'll play over and over again.

w00t, sequel time! everything i loved about the original nest of moai has been carried over into this one. the quick gameplay, the awesome music (i really go for good a cappella), and the pure randomness... the only problem is that it took me a good while to get a hang of the physics. it took me six tries to beat level one, but it was worth it! thanks for posting this!

are they on the leaning tower of pisa?

Awesome game! Japaness has a style compare to USA teens. It's pretty cool ^_^

4773, 4th level, and an A. Not sure what any of this means, though, but I guess that's an integral part of the game. XD

From my experience with Japanese games, A is a rating which means very good, but S would be even better.

Any idea where the music is from? Kooky stuff. It definitely completes the game, as far as I'm concerned.

Nevermind, just noticed the "Hirosuke" in the opening credits.

Ok seriously. I can't find anything on this Hirosuke guy. He must have a body of work for sale somewhere. At least I'd like to think that's the case. Anyway, the only musical reference I can find for the name Hirosuke is the lead singer of some Japanese death metal band called Balzac. Soooo... I'm pretty sure it's not the same guy. Guess I should start learning the Kanji, huh?

I've been a lurker here for a long time, and I hate to break my silence with boasting, but I just beat this with a score of 5553--A rank. *Almost* made it to AA. "Ii kanji," the announcer guy said.

OMG level 4 is soooo hard. finally beat it. score = 5063, grade "A"

Luck seems to be quite a factor in this game...if the ladder doesn't swing through the center as often, then it's going to be harder to pass the level.

I cant get the game started - do I miss some plugin?

did Disco Dan find anything out about the music? i'd love to get a copy of hirosuke's stuff.

Can't get past AA. Almost got 3A, but too many statues died (i think).
:| The last level is ridiculously difficult.
