DoraTerrific HalloweenIf you're looking for some Halloween cheer rather than ghouls and gore, check out the kid-friendly spot-the-difference title from Denis Sokolov and Igor Sotsky, Terrific Halloween. Featuring the art of Yulia Zhuravlyova and a bouncy soundtrack from Nikolay Statilko, it's a vibrant, colourful game with three modes of difficulty that you can let any tender young giblets you have running around play without fear. Just find and click on the differences between each scene as they're presented, moving as quickly as you can to score bonus points, and snag a hint if you're stuck. If you're a grown-up type person who loves to be scared, it can be easy to forget there's a littler, squealier group of Halloweeners who just want to dress up like ghosts and pirates and get some candy without worrying about nightmares, and this is definitely one for them.

This game really, really needs a mute option.

Reka,

There actually is a mute option (thank goodness because wow, that music could raise the dead)

If you move your cursor to the top of the game, a toolbar will drop with options to mute sound/music, as well as pause the game and make it fullscreen! :)

Hmmm...any ideas why Hard Mode didn't unlock when I completed it in Medium?

This was a cute game, but I have one complaint: the two pictures were not the same size, or maybe not cropped in exactly the same spot. Which meant that some things were cut off: a branch on top would be slightly shorter than its counterpart on the bottom, or there might be a missing star in the sky in one of the pictures. A couple of times I thought I'd found a difference but it was really just the size/cropping difference.

In a game where you're hunting for any little difference, everything that isn't an actual difference needs to look exactly the same.

I agree with that criticism, nerdypants. A lone star tripped me up on one of the levels and got me thinking the very same thing. It's a shame, really, because it's such a cute game.

This game was not as hard as I thought it would be, but it was also not that easy either. I typically like games like this because it gives me a challenge. However, I did note that the hard level did not unlock as it was said in the beginning before I actually played the game. Nice game though!
