no1game expects you to jump through a few hoops for fashion in Tailor, where the only way to escape is through the liberal use of a sewing machine. To play, just use the transparent black bars at the edges of the screen to move around the room, and click on things to interact. There's no changing cursor, as usual with no1game's titles, so leave no stone unturned as you hunt for the items you'll need to solve problems. To view an item up close, click the little rectangular button beneath its icon in your inventory at the top of the screen, and drag it anywhere you'd like to try using it. Tailor is actually a little fiddly about how it accepts this, requiring some items to be used in juuuuust the right place. It's a clunky little bit of pickiness, but not one that detracts too much from the overall experience... which, by the way, I feel confident in saying, is probably exactly like being on Project Runway. You'll practically be a fashion maven once you sew your way out of this one! Rarity would approve, darling.
Hmm, I know v=8, w=7, and I have the scissors and cell phone. I can't seem to do anything with the cell phone. Kind of stuck here.

This is one of those games where codes don't work until you look at all the clues. And it didn't help that I was trying to use 24 for W.
I'm stuck after
making the dress and got the code under the dress.
So I really don't get it. I've used the scissors on
the drapes and then the fabric cut from the drapes to make the dress pieces, then sewed the dress together and placed in on the mannequin, thus receiving the value of 'W'.
So what is this third use for the scissors that everyone keeps talking about?

If you click a certain cushion twice, it will turn over to reveal the stitches you can cut through.
Also, I can't find

Have you tried looking at the chairs under the table?
Did you try 87 multiplied by 63?
The answer is 5481. Enter that into the puzzle box near the door.
You'll get 4 exclamation points. !!!!
Then the door will open.

is found after opening the cell phone which is done using the
screwdriver. I don't know how many times I dragged the cell phone and the screwdriver onto everything in the scenes before I finally thought of trying the screwdriver on the cell phone. *smacks forehead*
