TomaTea is known for one thing... serene colour palettes. And mellow instrumental soundtracks. And "I have no clue how to solve this!" And... okay, so for a lot of things, basically. Let's just say they make great escape games and move on to talking about Spring Celebration, which combines puzzles and pastels all in one pretty package. To play, just watch for the tip of your cursor to glow as it passes over things you can interact with, and carefully examine your environment for sneaky hidden clues you'll need to crack the puzzles on the various locks. Don't let the lute-ish soundtrack fool you... there're no castles and courts here, but there are a whole lot of sunny Easter-themed decorations, as if any of us needed a specific date as incentive to bite the ears off a chocolate bunny. Some objects you may find a little fiddly or unintuitive to interact with, as some of them have extra functions that aren't immediately apparent unless you click on them in a certain location, and you might likewise find yourself stymied at a point that doesn't make it obvious you need to drag something rather than merely click it. Still, TomaTea's talent for crafty puzzles whose clues take a little puzzling themselves is in fine form here, and apart from a few mildly awkward implementations, they offer a great variety in difficulty and concept, and the sweet presentation is just the cherry on top. If you love escape games that seem to invite you to relax even as they make you think, TomaTea's Spring Celebration is sunny and satisfying despite a few bumps along the way.

Spring Celebration Walkthrough
Bottom right drawer
Check the purple cards on the colored tables. Inside you’ll find eggs in different positions. This is the pattern for the bottom right drawer.
Bottom right middle drawer
On the colored tables, notice the shapes of the biscuits (red squares, green stars, etc.). Click on the cups to find out the position of each figure.
Bottom left, top drawer
Take a look at the blue rabbits above the bed. The position of each egg indicates a button. The pattern for the drawer will then be up-down-down-up-up.
Top left, right drawer.
Take a look at one of the cards on the tables. Mentally turn the word “EGGS” upside down and you get the number 5993 which is the pattern for the drawer.
Top left drawer
Use the chicken coin on the right black board. Below the top right drawer, you’ll notice a picture of a chicken. This is what has to be drawn on the board. Once you’re done, you’ll notice 7 yellow squares. This is the pattern to the top left drawer.
Right screen above the bed
Turn the rabbit’s hat upside down and use the scissors to get the Lilac coin. Use it on the right screen above the bed and put everything together.
Top right, left drawer
Take a look at the curtains on the windows. Their position is the pattern to the drawer.
Rabbit Coin
The rabbit coin can be found under the basket with the yellow egg.
Bottom left drawer
Once you have all the coins, turn them around and see which letter repeats in the word. Use the top drawer, in the bottom left corner to see each letter’s position. The pattern for the bottom left drawer will then be G-B-L-C.
Red Marker Pen
The red marker pen is located on the second shelf to the left, next to the chicken.
Coloring the rabbit
The rabbit should be painted blue, with its toes and nose red. The chicken should be yellow with orange neb and legs. Grass should be green, basket orange, egg purple and for the flower – yellow and orange.
Top right drawer
On the picture that had to be colored, click on the rabbit’s nose. Notice the sequence in which its toes flicker. This is the pattern for the top right drawer – top left x2, top right x2, bottom left, bottom right, bottom left, bottom right. Use the carrot on the rabbit to get the blue egg.
Eggs in order
Go to the picture puzzle (top right above the bed) and notice the colors of the little switches. On the wall with the door, between the two black boards, put the eggs in the same order to get the key and escape.
