TrickyReincarnation: All Hallow's EveThe book of Isaiah tells us that there is no rest for the wicked, and that's accurate for a number of reasons in Reincarnation: All Hallow's Evil, the new Halloween-themed mini-installment of the Chris Gianelloni's popular point-and-click adventure series. Entries in the series have been coming out at such a constant rate, that I'm sure that the snarky demon protagonist has had little time to nap in-between his travels to Earth. What's more, the games have been of such consistently high quality that I wouldn't be surprised if author Chris Gianelloni had made a deal with Mr. Lou Cypher himself, and should probably have Daniel Webster on speed-dial just in case he sees a certain purple creature knocking at his door to collect.

If you've played any of the previous entries in the Reincarnation series, you generally know what to expect here: It's Halloween night, and The Demon has been sent out to check on Darcy, an escaped soul that the higher-ups of down below have reason to believe is once again indulging in some serious evil. Before you can send him down for proper... "rehabilitation", though, you'll need some evidence that Darcy is up to his old ways. Use the mouse to levitate items, manipulate and combine them in your inventory, and use them upon other items in the game to complete your mission. Be sure to try everything! There are two slightly different ways to finish the game and a handful of easter eggs to find.

Certainly Reincarnation: All Hallow's Evil is short and doesn't change much of the series's basic formula. But as the combination of chocolate, caramel, peanuts and nougat has shown every Trick or Treater, however, some formulas don't need to be changed. With it's fluid animation, top-notch voice-acting, creative yet logical puzzles, and pitch-black sense of humor, Reincarnation: AHE makes a spooktacular fun-sized treat to close out the Halloween season.

I heard you could use the lit candle on the bed to kill him.

The candle can be

used to finish the game, once you've gotton to the point that all you need to do is kill him you can either put the cleaners in a bucket or put the candle on his bed

walkthrough anyone?

Bee playing for about 10 minutes, got

an empty bucket, a mug with sleeping pills in it, some more sleppig pills, a key, a knife, a cigarette butt and a roach. Got the jack-o-lantern made and lit.

And seem to be stuck a bit... Posting this solely in trust of the power of posting - or a walkthru, whichever comes first :)

Bio:

think about how to distract Darcy...perhaps something you have will distract somebody easily?

gmpilot,

thx for the hint!

I'm at well-known the point now where I'm pretty sure I've tried every possible item on every possible hot spot and nothing seems to work - something that is obviusly not true, I just missed THAT ONE combination obviously :)

Plus, as it is with these things, the more I miss it the more obvious and logical it proves to be after I finally hit upon it (or read about it in athe walkthru), so the more homeschooled I feel )

This one was pretty easy compared to the others, was a fun 10 minute diversion though. Only think I got a couple achievements,

the pumpkin one and the smoking one. At the end there was a see-saw to the sack too, assuming that was the ending.

Reply

Just tell me one more thing pls: do I have to find an item to progress, or do i possess what it takes?

bio

Reply

Hmmm...

Since i couldnt progress, i resorted to a wlakthru and it told me to do something I know i tried a couple of times - and this time it worked... ???

This stupid game keeps freezing!

Reply

@Takida

Sorry if it maybe a silly advice, but very often "freezing" can be stopped by updating the graphic card driver :)

Reply

My hardware is ok. It freezes in the middle of playing, in various situations - you just can't go anywhere, and clicking doesn't help. Stil you can enable or disable sound for example.

Sorry for calling the game stupid but I think that the programmer made too many mistakes.
