GREENWith perfect timing, Bart Bonte delivers refreshing and hopeful GREEN!

Spring is coming and so is mild GREEN - Bart Bonte introduces new color puzzle game, after energetic YELLOW, passionate RED, stylish BLACK and magic BLUE. At the moment, the game is available for mobile devices only. It takes several weeks usually till PC version.

Note: GREEN is now available for browsers

Your target is to turn the screen of your device completely green and do that fifty times (in Android/iOS versions). Pleasant forest green and soft tune makes this installment the most calming of all parts of the series, and highly professional graphics shows that the author is top designer too in addition to being one of the best and most original creators of casual games (few weeks ago BLUE won the Mobile Game of the Year award in Belgium - hearty congratulations!). Players who know previous parts will find some of the puzzles familiar but Bart Bonte does not repeat himself and takes remarkable care of the composition of puzzles so the gameplay is amusing.

The game has autosave and hint system (bulb in the upper right corner). The app is free, 'premium unlock' in-app purchase removes ads from the hint system and of course, supports the author.

Enjoy and see you next time? Says Bart Bonte at the end...hopefully the question mark will change into exclamation mark. What about Purple?

Playing the browser game. I don't understand level 24. I got past it by brute force.

For reference, the video walkthrough for level 24 starts at 8:52 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zvfoj-4fOwg

The hints say to find pairs

that point to the same place.

It's the level in the above screenshot!

Remember the setup from level 15? To summarize the hints there:

The 12 buttons are placed on a 5x5 grid. Each button has arrows that tell you how far to look (horizontally and vertically) on the grid.

Unlike level 15, you'll notice that

there are a total of three arrows (counting multiples) on each button, so following them always lands you on an empty space.

If you try making a list or a drawing, you'll notice that all the target squares are

covered more than once. In fact, each is covered exactly twice.

Which brings you back to the hint telling you to

click the buttons in pairs that point to the same place.

Specifically,

The first and second squares you click must point to the same position, and so must the third and fourth, the fifth and sixth, and so on.

Thanks kktkkr, it seems so clear now. I don't know what my mental block was about "arrows that point to the same place".

Well, I got to the repetitive trial-and-error level with the pine trees, up to about the 7th tree cleared and said BYEeeeeee! This is for the birds and I recall pulling my hair out over that "puzzle" back ohhh about 20 years ago. It's just as un-satisfying to "solve" that it was back then. How sad. I've got quite a few good memories of Barte Bonte games. This won't be one of them.
