Fruit Kitchens No. 25: Melon Green

Funkyland serves up another sweet escape game Fruit Kitchens No. 25: Melon Green, where, should you wish to leave the cheery green scene, you'll need to find the seven melons hidden throughout the room. Presumably before the music and setting makes you put on an apron and some sixties hairdo and spin around the room like a maniac. Some of the fruits will just be sitting out for the taking, but others are hidden behind puzzles and locks, so make sure you click everywhere to find them! As you'd expect from Funkyland, Melon Green is bright and happy, with a fantastic whimsical design, though perhaps a little easier than some others in the series. So get to hunting those melons up, because it's the only way you're ever going to escape to some better fruit!... what? Melons are lame!

I love Fruit Kitchen escapes. Cute and quick escaping fun :)

Walkthrough

Melon 1

Zoom in on the right hand side of the kitchen.

Click on the table with the utensils and appliances underneath.

Lift the bowl on the right to find Melon 1.

Melon 2

Zoom in on the six pictures above the table on the right.

Melon 2 is hidden behind the Green Apple picture.

Melon 3

Still on the six pictures, click on the watermelon picture. Take the can opener.

Zoom in on the stove on the left hand side of the kitchen.

Zoom in on the can to the right of the stove.

Use the can opener on the can to find Melon 3.

Melon 4

Check out the green fridge under the frog. Note the colour clue and four digit code.

Where have you seen those colours before?

Maybe on the picture wall?

Hmm, the bottom middle picture seems to match the colours for the fridge clue. But what does it mean?

What about the rest of the pictures? We've got a bunch of letters and numbers. Do any of those seem to correspond?

Perhaps you should REFLECT on it...

The code is a letter M and a letter L reflected. That gives you a code of 1419 for the fridge.

Enter the code into the fridge and open to collect Melon 4.

Melon 5

Take the soda from the fridge (see Melon 4 if you haven't opened the fridge yet).

Zoom in to the left of the exit door. You'll see a tall white object and a small orange container with a melon on a stool.

Zoom in on the top of the white object.

It's actually a bottle opening machine. Insert the soda bottle to take the top off.

Collect the bottle cap from the bottom of the white bottle opening machine.

Zoom in on the table in the centre of the kitchen.

Fill the glasses with soda. Note the colours.

Zoom in on the pink frog on top of the fridge. Enter the code from the soda glasses to open the cabinet. Take the double ended spoony thing.

Return to the left of the door and zoom in on the orange container on the stool. Use the double ended spoony thing on the container.

Oh no, it won't stay open!

Use the world's heaviest bottle cap you collected earlier to weigh the spoony thing down. Take the key and Melon 5.

Melon 6

Zoom in on the stove.

There's a locked window to the left. Use the key on the window (if you don't have the key, see Melon 5). Take Melon 6.

Melon 7

Click to the right of the open window. Collect the grabby thing.

Zoom out completely and look upwards.

Click on the melon sitting on the high shelf. Use the grabby thing to collect Melon 7.

Take the key and use it to bundle your melons away to freedom!

It was a bit laggy for me, but still just as calmingly simple as usual. The most difficult bit for me was the

"mirror-image" bit for the number code

and even that wasn't so bad - the rest was a breeze. :)

@Fontaine Diego I am not feeling this breeze. Any hints for the

colour code under the frog? I can't see anything that makes sense.

You'll need

the soda from the fridge

Any hints for the number code? The first looks like

an M and a W combination, which would give me 37

but the last part looks like

and L combined with...nothing whatsoever, which means I can't solve this

Also, is there a point to the table view? It just seems to be four glasses with no chance of interaction.

Nevermind. POP.

Also, that's the world's heaviest bottle cap.

Tks Plectrumura. To paraphrase Sherlock - if you eliminate the impossible you are left with the possible no matter how improbable.
