Find the Escape-Men Part 148: In the Park Part 2
When we last left our heroine, she had just finished a fruitless search of half the park, looking for her mother's expensive pendant that was lost when she snuck it out to wear. No in no1game's point-and-click puzzle game Find the Escape-Men Part 148: In the Park Part 2, you'll need to search the rest of the area and hopefully find the pendant before dark, when you'll get in trouble for sure!... oh, and you'll need to find the ten hidden green Escape-Men too, of course! Just click to interact and move around the map, and click the question mark beneath items you're carrying to view and interact with them up close. As with the first half of this game, some of the places you'll see on the map just won't be available, though this time it's because they've already been searched. It goes without saying that finding the pendant is going to involve more than simply asking around or looking under playground equipment, and there's a variety of puzzles both logical and strange, often made even stranger by the lack of a changing cursor, so sometimes being stuck is less about not knowing what to do and more a matter of something being hidden in an odd place. Still, no matter who you are or where you come from, we've all been in this situation before... messing up as a kid, especially when you were doing something you know you weren't supposed to, and trying to fix it before anyone finds out, is a rite of passage. Though... typically for most of us it involves less gold teeth, nets, and tiny green dudes. At least, I hope.
Well I'm stumped by the first aid box
I thought it was the old man moving around park as if around a key pad, but that didn't seem to work
and POP!
nice to finally be able to ENTER the WC
And OUT.
Hint that can be a bit of a trip-up
Dust box code needs outside information - look for those drawings repeated!
Argh. I can't figure out the:
escape man in the toilet roll
Any hints?
Ask bobby for help with the TP roll
I used
the reusing ticket to get the gold tooth to give to the old man, who gave me the cracker with an EM on it.
Now I need to
reuse the hairpin in order to get the EM out of the TP.
If I had done the one before the other, I'd still be unable to get the 10th EM. Stuck on 9.
kurt,
I was stuck in the exact same spot you were
there is more than one reusing ticket
So stuck.
I managed to get a net and bobby pin, but can't figure out the code for either of the boxes.
OK,
I found the bathroom and managed to get up to 8 escape men. However, I still can't figure out the darn red climbing jungle thing.
Stuck with nine escape men.
I've used the bobby pin, tooth, net, two tickets, cracker, band aids, and cold pad. I found the one in the parking lot, I got the one on the airplane. Am I supposed to get the door to the office open somehow?
For the dust box:
Take a look at the jungle gym from afar. How many squares are there?
For the box at the office:
Have you been to the bathrooms? Check the mirror.
I'm still not sure how to interpret that number of squares. Everything I've tried hasn't worked.
merchantfan, for the red squares
They can overlap - use the same small squares more than once
I have found 9 but I am missing one.
I need to find the:
2nd reuse tag for the paper roll
any ideas?
mcecny,
One reuse card is in the dust box -- I'm guessing you have that one already.
The other one appears in one of the park locations, but only *after* you've solved the obvious puzzle for that location. If you revisit places that you've "solved", you'll find the second reuse card.
I'm stuck too, with 9 escape men, and judging from earlier comments, the one I'm missing is one that other people found easily.
I've used both reuse cards, opened both boxes, found the EM in the parking lot, and solved the puzzles at the plane, slide, bench, jungle gym, and bathroom.
The old man is still hanging around (though I gave him the tooth and found the EM on the cracker), and the guy on the seesaw is still there.
Every slot in my inventory is filled except one (which I guess is for the pendant?), and all the items have been used and are now unclickable.
Billy-o thanks for the advice.
As for your problem:
the man on the seesaw looks pretty lonely
Yay! Thank you, mcecny. I wouldn't have thought of that.
For those still stuck on the red square dustbin
It refers to the amount of times you can find squares of that SIZE elsewhere.
Also!
They can overlap!
That had me stuck for a while.
Still can't find that last little item....i must be completely blind.
the guy in the see saw looks a bit lonely nothing a few green guys cant fix.
I worked out that there must be
another reusing ticket, because the one I used was ticket B, just cannot for the life of me find it!
I found
Reuse Ticket A
by
randomly clicking around the slide. I have no idea where I actually clicked to find it, I think it's on the underside of the slide itself, near the top.
Can't find the
second reusing ticket!
Help!
zenseer,
since other comments in spoiler tags have given plenty of hints, I'm assuming you want some direct help. Don't click the next spoiler if you don't want specifics...
there are two hot spots on the slide
OK, I see four squares of 9, maybe 10 squares of 4 and 20 single squares but apparently that doesn't work.
So the solution is
20 small squares, 11 medium squares and 4 large squares
To count the medium squares
There's the obvious one at the top, then running through the big square beneath there are nine when you count overlaps, to give 10. Then the top little square overlaps the big square as well to give the 11th
For those of you stuck at 9 EM,
You don't need to convince the kid from the plane to play on the see-saw, you have 9 other smaller mates he can play with!
EM are apparently 1/3 the weight of an ordinary child
After that, you need to
Click on the park exit to find the pendant and a bit of a plot twist
I'm curious, the link above takes me to a page (and game) in Japanese. Where are you getting the English screen shot? Is there a way to link to the English version of the game?
@Rich W click where it says Japanese. It will change the language to English.
Well, I only have 8 green men and I am stumped!
I've read every spoiler on here, and I'm out of ideas.
This one needs a walkthrough soon!
Thanks for all the hints ...
