Find the Escape-Men 167: No1Game's 10th Anniversary
Few escape games are as immediately recogniseable as they are made by no1game's little green men, and for good reason. They've been providing free entertainment for a long, long time. How long? Oh, just a whole decade, and Find the Escape-Men 167: No1Game's 10th Anniversary is a well-earned celebration, even if no1game's idea of celebrating does mean locking you up in a strange room with a coffin, a punching bag, and some questionable reading material. As usual, to escape you'll need to find the ten little green men hidden sneakily throughout the room, and, also as usual, there's no changing cursor, so you'll really want to search everywhere and everything for interactive spots. Some of the puzzles you'll encounter here may feel as if they stretch the lengths of intuitiveness to their breaking point, or are a little awkwardly implemented. Which is not, of course, to say that Find the Escape-Men 167 doesn't have its share of surprises, some silly and others, ahem, risqué, and you'll definitely need to think outside the box more than once. While No1Game's 10th Anniversary as a game might be a little rough around the edges, it represents an amazing achievement by a generous developer, and we can only tip our hats and hope for ten more.

Collecting items:
Magazine:
Go to the right and click the
left side of the bookshelf. You will find
a Dirty Magazine behind it.
Dice:
Go to the right again and lift the
cloth up from under the table. Collect the
dice.
Washing Bin:
There is a window that you can
unlock behind a table. It is possible
to walk outside of this window and
stand on the ledge. The Washing Bin
is here. Along with the bin, there is
a code written down here as well.
Garlic:
Before you are able to get this
you will have to open the container. If
you haven't figured out how to open it yet
do that first. The garlic will be inside.
Rope
Keep in mind if you have not opened
the coffin yet you will not be able to get
this. So if you haven't done that yet, go
ahead and get it done. It will be inside the
coffin.
Puzzles:
Container:
There is a ledge you can climb onto
by going outside the window. The combination
to the container is located here. But! What's
that you say? It didn't work? Try again. Maybe
look at it differently? Like...
Upside-Down?
If you still haven't got it, I'll
reveal the code below.
8562
Coffin:
There is no password for this thing
anywhere! You've tried Vampire, Sunlight,
Garlic, Dracula, everything vampire related
imaginable! Well that's because brute force
is your only way in. Click the button until
it breaks. Thank Bram Stroker for that one.
Escape Men:
Flying Escape Man:
Click the Playingboy magazine and click
on the escape man to distract him. Then
click again to collect.
Attic Escape Man:
ARGH! He ducks his head away every
time I click on him! Do I need a broom to
reach him? A ladder? It's like playing a
game of whack-a-mole! But no more! Click
the portion of the ceiling where his legs
would be to knock him down to the floor!
Your arms are long enough, you can do it!
Move back down to the floor with the coffin
and snatch him up. Got ya!
Japanese Scroll Man:
Click to the left of the room with
the coffin in it. Here is a scroll with all
Japanese letters but that's not important.
Click the circle under the exclamation
point to turn green and then click on it.
Ta-da! One of the Escape Men!
Dice Man:
Click to examine the die and click
the corners to rotate the dice. Rotate until
you get a green circle and click it to collect
one more.
Punching Bag Man:
You will have to have collected the
die from earlier for this one. On the dice
are colored patterns representing each side.
After having removed the escape man from earlier
(which you should have done already) you will
notice it now says "X2". This tells you that
you need to punch the bag in this sequence twice.
Count the number side for each colored circle and
that is the order it needs to be punched.
For example: Red = 1, Blue = 2, etc.
If I didn't explain it well enough, here is the order...
Bottom-Left(Red), Top-Right(Blue), Middle-Right(Brown),
Middle-Left(Yellow), Top-Left(Purple). Now just do that one more time.
You don't need to hit the lower-right because there is no
more green circle on the die.
Hidden-in-plain-sight Man:
Examine your escape men. See that
smudge in the lower-right corner? Click it
until another escape man appears. He's been
right there the whole time.
I love books Man:
Go to the bookshelf and check the
right side of it. It's not clear, but you
can see some tape the same color of the
shelf stuck to the side. Click it to peel
off the Escape Man.
Garlic Man:
Open the container from earlier
and you will find him inside. Now if only
he didn't stink so bad!
Vampire Man:
You will need to open the coffin
and have the garlic for this so make sure
to do that first. After busting a hole in
the coffin's button, drop in the garlic and
a startled vampire will come out. Click him
to collect the escape man.
Creepy Static Man:
You will need the washing bin and
rope for this first so get those. Then tie
them together. This guy's static white noise
is getting pretty annoying so let's find a
way to deal with it. Go the bookshelf with
the pumpkin and click the very top of the
screen. Ah-ha! You can use the wash basin
tied to the rope on the beam here to hold
it in place and when you move back down you
will be holding it by the rope. If the static
man isn't there, don't click the hand just yet.
Circle the room letting him appear in various spots
until he is right under your trap in front of the
bookshelf. Then let it drop. Nailed him! Pick him
up and walk out of there.
After collecting all the Escape Men:
Click the sign above the door that says "Exit" and place your new big escape man inside of it. It will unlock the door. You can then exit. Enjoy the ending!
I tried to make my walkthrough more organized this time based on Reka's advice. I think it turned out nice and there is less of a chance of stumbling across something you don't want to see this way. Couldn't help but include some names of items and such, but the most part is still covered up. I'm happy with it. :)
