You've woken up in some strange places before, but this time your surroundings are something new. Are you trapped in a room, or an underground bunker? Or perhaps on a spaceship of some kind? Perhaps there might be someone else to help you uncover your whereabouts, if you know where to look. It appears there are more rooms hidden away, but they're locked behind some sort of key card access. And checking your pockets, it seems that yours may have picked a particularly bad time to go missing in action...
Extraction is a short but charming game that nicely incorporates point-and-click features with a bit of an escape element. As it's named Chapter 0, we can hope that the author intended it as a test and plans to come back to produce more (and longer) episodes in the future. Playing the game is rather straightforward, with the mouse used exclusively to click on elements on the screen and gather objects, which can be accessed from your inventory at the bottom. Although this will almost surely be a true "five-minute" type game, the accompanying visuals and artistic style should make it both short and sweet.
The link to the game appears to be broken. :-/
Works well for me.
No inventory is visible in Firefox. In Chrome, the game never renders.
The SWF file is downloadable. But the game is only a minute long, and you are out. Too short, no real puzzles.
Right clicking and selecting "Show all" brings the inventory up in Firefox.
Works in IE 11.192.16299.0, or Firefox 43.0.1, but requires right-click > "Show all" to bring up the inventory.
Doesn't render the game window in Edge 41.16299.15.0, or Chrome 64.0.3282.119.
...but actually I seem to be experiencing the exact same thing for all games that are in a JiG-embedded page (http://jayisgames.com/games/GAMENAME/ ).
Thank you Aexis, we will investigate deeper.
The link and game worked fine for me, using Firefox on a Mac. This did not seem like a game, just the very start of one.
Works well on Firefox.
Lacks a little content but good potential !
