I guess when SHIELD's busy you take what you got, and when the supervillain Haddock escapes, what you got is the weird and wacky crew of turboNUKE's latest racing stunt game Cyclomaniacs Epic! Use the [WASD] or [arrow] keys to brake, accelerate, and keep your balance as you race others to the finish line across each stage, performing stunts to earn a higher score. As you win races, you'll unlock more tracks to run and characters to play on, including coins to spend on upgrades for your ride.
Though hardly much different from the last games, Cyclomaniacs Epic continues to prove that you definitely don't need realism to have a good time racing. The design is as gorgeous and colourful as ever, though many tracks don't have a lot to differentiate them apart from the scenery. What's great is the added level of difficulty and challenge the various stunts bring to the table, allowing casual players to enjoy playing the game straight through with no trouble, while achievement-nabbers will really need to master the controls and their groove to take home first on every level. With a whole host of upgrades and unlockables, this one isn't a bike ride in the park, but it's definitely a whole lot more entertaining.
Awesome, the first one is one of my favorite games
How do you get a Sneaky Start?
I think you do a sneaky start by accelerating slightly before it says go. I'm not sure though.
Strange... After clicking on play and the Turbo Nuke logo appears, the game seems to just freeze and there's absolutely nothing I can do to get past this stage, no matter how much I try. Upon right-clicking I get a 'Movie not loaded...' text in the drop-down menu, but waiting doesn't solve the issue. I've been having the same problem with several games lately, including CubeCubeCube.
I've updated my Flash Player to the latest version but that doesn't seem to be helping things either...
I'm using Safari on a Mac.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do to fix these freezing flash games? It's pretty irritating!
Thanks to anyone who can help :)
It could have been a glitch during download. Try emptying your browser cache when that happens and relad the game page.
Hmm.. I tried emptying the cache several times like you recommended but it didn't seem to do anything. I'll try another browser.
Same problem as Ogotu: watch loading screen, press 'play', see animated TurboNuke logo fade out... and the Flash object stops (playing == false).
I've tried "emptying my cache," and I tried going to TurboNuke's website instead of the version here. Wish there was a debug console for Adobe Flash Player.
Cyclomaniacs2 still works fine.
I'm not experiencing any issues with this game in any browser I try on either Mac (10.7.5) or Windows 7. If you have any browser extensions installed that could interfere with the loading of external content (like script or ad blockers), you should try disabling those as they are notorious for causing problems with free Flash games, which are ad supported.
> disable safety measures and ad-blockers
I restarted firefox with "firefox -safe-mode", which ditches all add-ons and userscripts. I tried it with Google's Chrome browser (both the flash plugin and the Pepperflash thingy). I tried it with a Safari-alike browser that's just some widgets wrapped around Webkit.
The flash player still halts after the TurboNuke logo fades out. I guess the next step is to file a bug report with TurboNuke/ LongAnimals/ Robotjam.
What versions of everything (OS, browser, Flash Player) are you using? That would help us try to reproduce the exact situation you have. Also, what area of the world are you in?
When I first tried this I clicked play & got a blank screen, I needed to update my flashplayer to get the game to work.
It's more playable than the others in the series but the boost doesn't work properly at all.
Stick with the robot and his 2nd bike until you unlock the indy-alike then run withn his minecart until you unlock cleopatra and run on her 2nd bike.
When you play the level where you have to save 8 of the puddings, is anyone actually able to do this within the time range? If so, how and what bike are you using? I did a test run going balls out to see what the whole track looked like and even going on the best bike at top speed I had less than 20 seconds (and only two puddings) left at the end. I cannot imagine being able to coax that sled over all the bumps all the way to the end with 8 puddings and not run out of time. Help!
If you get the blue screen you don't have flash player 11.3 or above.
We needed 11.3 to be able to do some things as we are doing a mobile version as well. We tested it on a beta and the % with a flash player less than 11.3 was so low
Whelp, that explains it; I'm stuck with Flash version 11.2.xx
No hard feelings.
puddings level, i used cleo, you can go all out for the first 2/3's but be ready to slow down for the rocks near the end. you can do it with about 3 or 4 seconds to spare, just keep an eye on the pudding mete as if its no longer green u already failed so just restart. took about 6 tries to beat but its NOT easy. and there are MUCH harder mission to beat than that as well.
Cassie Danger Lilly: I did it on my first run, I dont remember which bike I had, but there wasn't anything special about it, I just drove straight through and took a bit of care on the slopes etc... and got to the end with 8 puddings and even some time left. Strange, is your game lagging? Maybe it could be some performance issue (clock running too fast vs game speed).
To the people with the Safari issue (which I think as already been solved, but just for the record), I played it on Safari, 10.8.2, latest flash player... I played the whole game through and only got one random lock down.
I liked this game a lot, feels much more like the first one than the second (which was a bit frustrating, if I remember well).
Sneaky Start:
Accelerate when the clapper opens.
Anyone know where to find the piano (to smash) on costume drama?
I was probably too busy doing wheelies and flips to see it fly by.
The Sneaky Start is achieved when you
accelerate immediately when the clapperboard begins to open, regardless of the number on the countdown.
Need help with the car crushing and that anti-gravity thing where I have to do 10 backflips.
This is the most messy and disorganized series there could be. Both in interface and naming. How is the title "Epic" related? Learn from Cactus McCoy. Subtitles with numbers for shortening are the best choice.
CycloManiacs3 : Haddock escape
CycloManiacs2 : GregMania
CycloManiacs2 : Ninja World
CycloManiacs : The Championship
With the current unorganized naming trend, the next one will likely be called CycloAdventures, instead of CycloManiacs 4.
