Beetle Room Escape
Beetle Room Escape is yet another in a long series of escape games from Japanese developer(s), Escape School Games. These folks release a new escape game virtually every week. This week we feature two of them.
Although it's a rather drab looking room, the puzzle contained within it is pretty sweet and it shouldn't take you more than 10 or 15 minutes. The room descriptions are all in Japanese, but thankfully you won't need them. Keep your eyes open for clues of any kind that will lead you to the solution of the ultimate combination lock. With some pixel hunting expected in the genre, this game surely doesn't disappoint in that regard, though it won't frustrate you with impossible to find locations either. Just be sure to click all sides of every object and you'll be out in no time.

Ok, solved it.
Walkthrough:
Really?
First find everything: There's chopsticks in the plant to your left. Go right once. There's a golf club if you click the upper-right side of the bed, and there's something else on the floor to the left side of the bed. Ignore the calender for now. Go right once. there's a cup between the 6 and 1 statue. Go right once. There's a magazine up front and a tray with food below the table. That's it you've got everything.
use the chopsticks on the food (an escape-the-room game where you can eat?). now you see 47 and an arrow to the right. Use the long thingy you found near the bed on the cup to reveal another part of the code: 35 and an arrow upwards.
go to the calender and fit the magazine on it - you see the little holes? if you fit it right, the down arrow cut-out will go over the number 28, giving us yet another part of the code.
The last part of the code is the 6 and 1 statues we saw earlier. notice how the other stuff in that room (the triangular chair) create an arrow to the left. wonderful.
Now for the perfect ending. skip this part if you just want to finish the damn game. go to the door and click the right side plant. use the golf club on the green gooey blob. then go to the 1 statue, and click on its top part. use the golf-club-with-green-blob to get the disk. Now there should be a beetle where the blob used to be. good for you.
Ok, now it's time for the code. Here's what we've got:
28 Down (D)
35 Up (U)
47 Right (R)
61 Left (L)
Notice something? that's right, no number is repeted twice. Which allows us to sort them out by their right order:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8.
Or, if we apply that to their directions we get:
L D U R U L R D,
which is the code to the door.
Well, what are you waiting for? get out already!
