What's the reset hotkey to the brain? Ha!

Well, a reset hotkey would be nice. Those yo-yos are a chore to wind back up.

Okay, we get it. Every Babylon Sticks comic has the exact same punch line: there's a mismatch between computer games (or a certain genre of games) and real life. ENOUGH ALREADY.

@Tal: Your negativity is unappreciated. Even if that is the backbone of every Babylon Sticks comic on this website to date-- and I doubt it-- part of the humor of the comic comes from seeing all the myriad imaginative ways in which that rule is demonstrated.

If you like Babylon Sticks, read it. If you don't, don't. I won't try to change your opinion, but please spare us your complaints.

Life is just a rougelike game. =P

There is no reset, you just have to deal with it.

The background art on this one has a really, really nice vibe to it. The joke, on the other hand... eh.

Well, I'll put this as nicely as possible -- maybe allow the community to come up with more of the punchlines for these? It seemed to work pretty well the last time...

I don't think it's negativity, it is an urge to understand, why.
When joke dosn't make you laugh, you at least want to understand where it was supposed to be funny. So this yo-yo doesn't work like games do, why this should make me rofl?

ps: not funny.

@Those who don't care for the Babylon Sticks strips posted on JIG: Have you ever considered reading his other stuff?

...if we already don't like the work of his we've seen, why would we want to read his other stuff?

There not funny because there's no edginess to them. Someone a while back said it reminded them of the Family Circus comic (i.e. not funny). Having users make up the punchlines is a good idea (Dysfunctional Family Circus: http://dfc.furr.org/) but this site is way too "family friendly" to allow anything that pushes the envelope.

Not everyone is into edgy humor. Strips like Family Circus and Garfield are still popular, despite the negative consensus among culture heads. By all means, enjoy whatever makes you laugh, and try to turn the squares to your taste if you must, but don't begrudge people their fun. It's petty.

I haven't laughed aloud at a single one of these strips, but somehow, it doesn't make me angry that they exist. Imagine that.

Well, at the very least, these strips probably should not be clogging up the "hot games" list.

That's something I'm not exactly thrilled with when I'm looking for gems I might have missed in the past. And it confused the heck out of my cousin (first time user) that some of the "games" turned out to be subpar comics.

It's a relatively minor annoyance, but, they *really* don't belong there.

[OK, done. They no longer show up on the "hot games" list, and I've also removed the comics from the "best games" list as well. I agree. They probably didn't belong there. -Jay]

Thanks, Jay!

I don't know if anyone's told you recently, but, those lists really are priceless for somebody just getting their feet wet in the world of browser games. They look better, now.
