...what's the reference here again?
LOL.
I'd so do that
This might be funny to me if I had any idea what Mob Wars was.
I get it, Mob Wars might be invented, this is a joke if your involved in multiplayer online battle games.
It's Mafia wars. >_>
that a real nice scribbly painting it'd be a shame if anything were to happen to it
"thats a real nice scribbly painting it'd bea shame should something HAPPEN to it"
love this one :D
Mob Wars is a Facebook-only MMORPG. It has grown to preposterous proportions (as have farming games). I take the comic to mean that the real mob is feeling "threatened" by those with a large amount of power within the Facebook game. That being said the use of Facebook to play/distribute games is annoying and overdone.
My mistake it's called "Mafia Wars" but the concept still applies.
Actually, Mafia Wars was pretty much a clone of Mob Wars, which to my knowledge was the first of these Mafia Facebook games. Much like Farmville is suspiciously similar to Farm Town. <_<
Hmmm, I really thought more people would have heard of it. Well, the good news is that if nobody remembers Mob Wars anymore it won't be a year before nobody remembers Farmville...
it's not really a comic, more of a single sketch, i don't really get it (that is the whole casual gameplay comic, not just this sketch)
i also don't get all the comments that are written as if there is some great in-joke that outsiders aren't privy to.
i do like the art work though
Not all comics are elaborate multi-panel monstrosities. Some are just single-panel, all of the "joke" is in one panel. If you are familiar with certain internet games/memes, you'll easily get the joke.
There's something next to the vent at the top of the comic: "[someone] was here". But I can't make out the name, maybe it's a reference.
"Stuart was here" above the vent.
*Random farmer walks up to guy who's being terrorized by mobsters*
"Delete your Farmville, varmint!"
