Sneak Thief 4 Walkthrough

Open hatch, go down.
Get key from pink suit on right.
Use key to take fire extinguisher on left.
Use extinguisher on orange box on right, get googly eyes.
Use googly eyes on retinal scanner.

Galley
(Skip the slot machine room for now, exit to the left.)

On the near left table, take the crayon.
On the near right table, take the jar.

First Room (On the left)

Take the knife and the frozen brain (Open the fridge, then the freezer inside it.).
Zap the brain in the microwave on top of the fridge (Once you've put the brain in, turn the bottom knob then the top knob.).
Get the bottle of water from the pink shelf in the front right.

Third room (on the right)

Get 2 sections of pipe from the ceiling and a piece of paper from the floor.

Center Room

In the center room, take the tv from the bed and the brain power tablets from the drawer above the bunk.
Use the knife to open the orange box on the floor, get glue.

First Robot Assembly

Glue the robot's face, then apply paper, then apply crayon, get lever.

Slot Machine

Keep pulling the lever until you see a picture of a rectangular column. (The bar beneath the wheel will light up.) Glue that picture down. Repeat. One more time, and you'll get the blueprints. Now pull the lever again and it will break off.

Final Robot Assembly

First, make an alive brain

Put thawed brain in jar. Add energy tablet and water.

Now, unroll the blueprint and add to it (in their respective places) the tv, the brain, the 2 levers and the 2 pipe sections.

End Game

Say woot. Or WTF. Depending on your personality.

I think the one thing that screwed me up the most in this one was...

...having to place the parts on the blueprint itself. I haven't had to do that since The Great Kitchen Escape.

Thanks for that, SonicLover....I would never have got that on my own!

And it took me entirely too long to figure out how to

cheer up the robot...

Is there a way or turning off the sound?

@Bonnie, the sound can be turned off just below the game in the fine orange print.

I seem to have reached the point in which I click everything.

I have the TV, two pipes, glue, lever, and alive brain. I think I'm just missing something terribly obvious.

I'm stuck at the same point as MizBB.

Play the slot machine a couple of times. What do you notice?

One of the images seems special. Wish we had something to hold it constant and get all three images to be the same.

@mizBB thank you!

I'm trying to find the hands to the assembled robot and I'm just clicking clicking everywhere o_O

Hmmmm it looks as though

the pink robot has the other arm and I cannot make him give it up!

Risarah,

Look on the floor of the library. Now look at the items left in your inventory. What can you do with these?

I wondered why we hadn't seen any Pastel Games releases this year.

I just remembered, the ending of Submachine 7 said that Submachine 8: The Plan was due out in 2011! Hey, Mateusz, you're running out of time!

Reply

Ahaha, that was great. Just got ... stuck with the glue for a moment, and remembering how the plans worked.

That intro sequence is dynamite.

Fun game but the one thing that drove me up the wall and made me resort to the walk-through was how you put together the final solution... I felt it was foolish that in the older games you had to build the solution

in a certain room

but in this one you had to

open the blueprint and place the pieces on it

to complete the final solution. I NEVER would have thought of doing that since it was how I tried to beat the game the first time and found out the *real* way to do it.

Reply

Oh, also... does the creator of this series have anything to do with the old Submachine games or that other series that he put together? It feels a lot like the other series he had going for a bit.

i cant put the "glue" on the "alive brain"! how do you do it?
