warbears1.jpgAdamBIt's been close to a year, but finally Gionatan Iasio has brought us another installment in his excellent Warbears games, Warbears: Mission 2. The point-and-click puzzle games are similar to Rob Allen's Hapland series but with a distinctly unique flavor. You control four bears on a training mission to infiltrate a house set with paintball-loaded dummies. By clicking on a bear you bring up a context-sensitive menu of actions you can perform. The order in which you do things is the key to completing the mission, and one wrong step puts you in a goo-splattered dead end.

Warbears is all about playing, getting stuck, then starting all over again. There is no warning to tell you when you're about to do something stupid, so you may find yourself (as I did) restarting after a full half hour of play. Fortunately Iasio's beautiful animations and music gives the game a very comfortable mood, so you won't get frustrated. Mission 2 is much more polished than the first game with better sound and visuals and more streamlined gameplay.

For puzzle strategists and curious onlookers alike, this game provides enough of a challenge to tickle the grey matter without overwhelming you at any time. From the opening title to the four eventual endings, Warbears: Mission 2 is a well deserved sequel and a very enjoyable game.

Play Warbears: Mission 2

Be sure to check out Gionatan's original Warbears as well.

Thanks to Lily and video_game_freak for giving us the heads-up!

WARBEARS MISSION 2 - CONCISE AND COMPLETE WALKTHROUGH:

The following spoiler contains many more spoilers, each in sequential order, on the steps to follow in order to complete the game. Within those spoilers, there are also extra spoilers that contain how to get bonus points, how to not lose points, tips, and alternate endings. If played without the alternate ending spoilers, you should arrive to the refrigerator ending. For the warbear+jewel ending, "do-nothing" ending, and the warbeer ending, use/read the alternate ending spoilers-within-spoilers. This is a complete and concise walkthrough, unless I am missing something here, of which it would not be completely complete, and unless you think this is too long to be concise, of which it would then not be concise. I've done my best. Enjoy, and cheat responsibly.

Shooting Glass

Steve should shoot target in the glass. Now he knows it's bulletproof. This is useful later, so you don't lose points for taking unnecessary risks. Bonus Points!:

Hit the center on your first shot. "That was perfect!" It also reduces the risk of getting a, "that was unprofessional" point deduction.

Scaring a Squirrel

Ryoh should cut the clothesline. Then have him attack the tree at medium power twice in a row, and very quickly. This should scare the squirrel out and onto the roof. Tip :

Steve will sometime after this say that he left his mobile on. Leave it on. No reason

The Circuit Panel

Move Kla to the right once, and inspect the circuit panel, or the box thing. You need a fuse. Move him back to the rocks, and grab a rock. Go back to the circuit panel and wait.

Screaming Squirrel

Ryoh should cut the tree down now. Click the sword when the bar is at maximum power. Bonus Points:

Hit the tree the first time the bar goes up. Perfect!

The leaves will block one of the target's views, so Kla should be able to go to the door without being shot. Make Kla attempt to open the door 2 times in a row, sounding the alarm. The squirrel should go crazy. Steve will shoot at him, causing some ledge to break.

Butting In

Lucas should move to the left until he is shot at. Move back and ask Steve for help. Talking his suggestion, stand in front of the broken pipes and headbutt the building. Bonus Points:

Have Lucas tell Steve that he'll get him out of there. Steve will apologize about some donuts. Friendship brings joy!

Lucas should clamber up the pipes and into the open window. Got inside the building!

The Puzzle

You solve it by trying to fill the "pie-graph" type chart exactly - no more no less. There is a switch for 1, 2, 3, and 4. Pick the order of the #s, so that 2nd and the 4th #s are added to the graph, and the 1st and the 3rd are multiplied by 2, and then added to the graph. Answer:

2,3,4,1.

Into the Basement

Move Ryoh onto the roof. Move Lucas to the door. Have a conversation, and Ryoh will say that it's clear to use explosives. Explode the door. Enter the room and grab the key. Go back and open the other door. Go down to the basement, where a big boulder will roll down and break the stairs. Bonus Points:

Rather than getting hit by the boulder, move to the left and dodge it. Good reflexes!

Passing the Fuse

Move Lucas to the left. Take a fuse from the box behind him. Now Kla should go down the steps, and open the basement window thing. Move to the right, in front of the stairs, and open the thing there too. Prop up the pipe on the railing as well. Have Lucas give Kla the fuse. Kla should go back and put it in the circuit panel.

Opening Doors

Hack the circuit panel using Kla. It's a memorizing/matching game. Match the colors exactly, ignoring the black one. Bonus points :

Solve it on your first try. Do it in 3 tries or more, and you'll lose points.

Unlock the front door, and open the basement door. Now go to the front door and leave it open. Come back to the circuit panel.

Basement Escape

Move Lucas right of the second circuit box in the basement. Get Kla to take the fuse out of the circuit panel. Move right, and pass it to Lucas. Have Lucas put the fuse in, then move left and press the button. The panel should open. Push the switch, then go back to the circuit box. Take the fuse out. Hand it back to Kla, who should go to the circuit panel and open the basement door again. Move Lucas through the door. Have Kla take the fuse out, and give it back to Lucas again. Replace the fuse in it's original box. Now have Ryoh come up and down the roof. Lower the string, and have Lucas climb up. Phew!

Steve's Turn

Have Lucas jump out the window and onto the pipe, which will flip the glass jar off of Steve. Move Steve into the front door. Shoot all 3 bullseyes. Bonus Points:

Shoot the bull's-eye on your first shot. You may dodge a few times, then shoot, as long as it's your first shot at that particular target.

Alternate Ending:

Helps you fully win the game. At the last target, there will be a small dot below the center target. Shoot that first. You know you've shot it when the vase to the side breaks. You will still get a perfect bonus if you shoot it first, and then the bull's-eye target. Afterwards, use Steve to grab the blue jewel to there., and you will get a + for, "Got a shiny item".

Computer Hacking

Move Kla into the building. He'll tell Steve to go outside and shoot a panel, the 2nd blue dot to the right. Do so. Bonus Points:

Do it on your first try. Perfect!

Hack the computer. Bonus points:

Press the MP3 button. This will revive one of the targets. Quickly, before he shoots Kla, throw a the rock you got at him. Yeah!

Escape Pod

Have Ryoh use his sword and then tie a rope from the pod to the door. Wait. Alternate ending:

Do nothing, and let the rocket blast away. (= Not the best though.

When the rocket stops, have Ryoh climb up the rope and take take control of the rocket. Change all the squares on the left to red. Alternate ending:

Warbeer ending. As well as changing the squares to the left, change the squares to the right all to green. If you grabbed the jewel:

This is the best ending. It may seem at first that it is the same, but stay a while, and the commander will tell Steve that he has the object.

Have Steve shoot the pod. Not the best ending however.

Extra Tips:

I would suggest to save time that you do 2 things at once. For example, moving Kla to the circuit panel, while moving Lucas to the pipe. Having Kla talk about the fuse, then read what he's saying while Ryoh cuts the clothesline. If you do things on your first try (ex. not shooting twice to hit a target), then you'll get bonus points. The old dude that cut the dressed up tree, and the cell phone may not mean anything. Sometimes the answer is revealed by what they say when you lose, so when you try again, you know it. But you won't really care, I'm sure, because you've probably read my walkthrough. I'm glad that Warbears isn't the kind of game that gets too boring if you use a walkthrough. Happy reading, and good luck!

Oh fantastic, you guys have made my day for two days in a row.

Reply

Also mission 3 is there..

Reply

I've been waiting for the sequel for what feels like ages. YAY!

Reply

So, I've opened a circuit panel, thrown a rock, cut a clothes line, talked to steve, shot some glass, turned off a phone, talked to steve again, head butted a house, the only other moves I have are walking into the line of fire or climbing up the pipe and losing because I didn't talk to steve enough.

WTH?

Reply

Leandro, Mission 3 is not there yet but coming soon. Or at least it is not published at www.warbears.com. But if you happen to know that it is out there somewhere else then please let us know :)

Reply

I can't get into the house without causing a mission failure either.... Could anyone give me a hint to get inside without the Chief complaining about Steve's laziness?

Reply

Ah, i figured it out! No worries.

Reply

Xadrian, Marc, Remember mission 1? You have to do things in a certain order to make them right. If Lucas fail to convince Steve, then maybe that conversation has to be done in some later stage.

And remember, the mission fails also if you kill innocent casualties ;)

I found this game on Lazylaces yesterday, so I've been going back and forth between those forums and the actual Warbears forums. This is one of those games that gets really frustrating because you want to see what happens for the "good" ending, but nothing you can think of will get it. Here's some hints as to what I've got so far.

- You need to get the squirrel out of the tree before chopping it down. Maybe just tapping the tree will get its attention...
- Steve won't train against dummies, he wants to see an enemy that can shoot back.
- You'll get some bonus points for showing Steve why it's pointless to fire his gun inside the glass dome.
- Kla can pick up a rock. Might be useful?
- The Chief wants you to take advantage of your environment. That includes the sleeping squirrel on the roof. But how do you wake it up? Maybe if you trigger an alarm a couple times...

Hopefully this helps a bit. I can get a rank of A, and see endings 2 and 3, but that's it. If anyone gets a better ending, I'm kinda stuck.

Reply

WHAY! I did it without any help! I got ending 2, 1100 points and i didn't kill any innocent casulties!

Good sequel, and utterly random!

p.s. what was with that random bloke who came on halfway through the game, hit a tree, then left?

Reply

how do u do the switches, im confused

Reply

Yeah, not a fan of stuff I have to start over if I fail. Starting from the last point, maybe, but if I get 20 mins into it and miss a damn squirrel...

Never played 1, almost glad. It's cute, though.

Reply

Alright, a sequel! There goes my afternoon.

Reply

How do you get the glass dome to fall on Steve? I did it once and now I forgot!

Hit the tree softly a few times to get the animal out of it. Try the front door 2 times fast to get the animal to scream, Steve will shoot at it closing a door on the roof. The upstairs electric thing is 2,3,4,1(..,...,....,.). The fuse is located in the basement.

Reply

I, too, am stuck with the darn switches!

Reply

Guys, I'm Gionatan Iasio.
Just wanted to say thanks for playing.
Hey Jay, thanks for the review ;)

Reply

Bruce,

let Steve have his lecture about team work only after he has frightened the squirrel away.

Xandrian, you are absolutely right. It is frustrating to start all over again if you fail in some stage. I usually started with the tree cutting, which is quite damn hard, since you have to

hit the tree twice very quickly and the power has to be between the first and the second line.

I managed to get B rank, but only after I cheated by reading some very clear hints at Lazylaces. I have to say that the 'thing' was really not so obvious:

I would expect it to be behind the middle target :(

Reply

rite what do you do when you get the fuse, coz i keep tryin to go up the rope but it keeps saying i have something else to do here

Reply

Kenai, I give a hint:

You have to find a way how Lucas can give the fuse to Kla without coming out from the basement.

Reply

im so stuck, go the fuse out etc... put it in the circuit opened the door but now dnt know wqat to do, please help

I have Lucas in the house, but I'm having trouble getting the focus back outside of the house so I can control the other bears... I did it once but I'm not sure how. Anybody else having trouble with this?

theres a little white shadow where the bears are, hover your mouse over that

This is the sequel to the game that led me to this site! -HAPPY-
I googled WarBears walkthrough and bam. Here I am today.

Reply

Ok,
I got this part to work but I can't remember how???????
How do you get agent Kla past the window without getting shot with the green goup?

Reply

Yeah, I loved the original Warbears and liked this, but it is getting too much to have to start completely over again when you make a mistake. Maybe I'm just impatient but it spoilt my enjoyment of this instalment and ultimately stopped me playing.

Reply

It would be nice if the games gave you a save state, where anytime during your mission you could use it to save and restart from, and of course, since it doesn't guarantee you started off right you still might need to start over from the beginning but it would help you avoid having to start all the way over in certain cases.
Some type of system I think would make this more accessable to a broader audience. Since this game requires some severe patience.

But it is cute and fun :3 regardless

Reply

I've gotten endings 2 and 3, but even if i get the "thing" then it still says i got ending 2 or 3... help?
i also heard something about an ending including the squirrel...

nice game, but not having a save feature RUINS the playability

Reply

Beebly:

Hint:

You need to somehow block the target's (line of sight)

Solution:

Cut down the tree

Kenai:

Make lucas go through the open basement door. He then has to do something in that room. Once done leave the room.

What lucas must do before he can leave the basement:

Replace the original fuse, after doing the above.

Hope that helps people!

How come Ryoh keeps getting shot? The evil siren thing ALWAYS comes up and is bugging me- and do you have to pull up the clothesline?

someone help me

Thx for the mention Jay!

This game owns all. i got it beat with 1700 points.... and with endings 2 and 3. I cant figure out how to get the "item"...

And also, Ioji said that he should be releasing a new warbears game about every 2 months now.

what does lucas have to do in the basement? i got the fuse but he won't go up!

I'm stuck at 44%, I have him out of the glass, but the front door is locked and I can't get anyone to do anything.

I beat it but only with a c rank.

Walkthrough (for ending 2 of 4)

I tried this twice, I'm sorry for any mistakes but this is the first time I try to write a walkthrough.

I'll assume you know the bears' names. Anyway, Ryoh is the guy with the swords and the blue headband, Kla is the geek with the glasses, Lucas is the one with the stipey bandana and Steve the one dressed in green with the gun.
First, Ryoh has to hit the tree on his left twice. Timing is important. Click the sword, then click again when the red bar is about halfway. Do it twice (and as quickly as possible - once I was slow and I had to repeat it). If you do it correct, a squirrell will jump off the tree and on the roof. Then hit the tree again when the red bar/sword is full to cut the tree. It will fall on top of the target in front of the window, "killing" it. Then Ryoh cuts the line of clothes on his right and picks it up.
Go right with Kla and open the control panel (button shaped like a circle). He'll say he needs a fusible. Go back left and pick up a stone, you'll need it later. Then right, right and up the stairs, until he's in front of the door. Try to open it, and he'll say it's locked. Try to open it again. Nah, still open. Try again -
By now the squirrel on the roof will have gotten tired of the noise. He'll start screaming, Steve will shoot at him and scare him. He'll run away, knocking open the hatch on the roof.
With Steve, shoot the guy on the roof. You have to click in the target's centre, bonus points for accuracy. Then he'll realize that it's only a training mission, and he'll get bored.
Go left with Lucas, then left again. The enemy will shoot at him and miss. Go back and talk to Steve, who will refuse to help but suggest him to headbutt the building. Go back left. Yeah, now you've got the option of headbutting the building. Do so.
This will make several things happen, most notably the fact that now Lucas is trapped under a glass dome. Telling him that we'll get him out earns bonus points.
Still with Lucas, go up the pipe. Yay, you're in the building, and half of the targets are gone!
Steve is inside now. Click on the circular button, you have to solve a puzzle to disable the alarm on the roof. Click on switch 3, 2, 4, 1 in the order, then the red button.
Go left and try to open the door, which is of course locked. Isn't there any open door in this game?
With Ryoh, get on the roof. Lucas now has an option of talking to Ryoh. He'll say that the room is clear. Lucas can use explosives (the rectangular thingy) to break the door open.
Go left again and pick up the key, then go all the way right and open the grey door. Go down the stairs. A huge ball will go after you when you're in the cellar. If you go left quickly you'll get bonus point for reflexes. Now the stairs are destroyed and you're trapped in the basement. Go left, open the cabinet and pick up a fusible. Get ready for the most boring part of the game.
Switch back to Kla (mouseover the white outlines of the bear to switch between outside/inside view). Go down left and open the small window to the basement. Go right. Click on the icon of the metal pipe, and he'll raise it. This will serve later. Open the other window, then click on Lucas. Click on the "fusible with the up arrow" and Lucas will give the fusible to Kla. (I hope you understood how this works - open window, bears near to each other, icon of a fusible with arrow - from now on I'll just say that Steve passes the fusible to Kla).
Kla goes left and uses the fusible with the control pane on the side of the house. Click on the computer icon. You have to solve a small puzzle, remember the position of the colours and click on them to make pairs, it's pretty intuitive. Open both doors, then go right and open the house door. Don't go in yet.
Switch to Lucas and go through the basement door. With Kla, remove the fuse from the control panel and pass it to Lucas. Lucas uses the fuse on the control panel in the basement, then goes left, presses the button and and pulls the lever.
If you're enjoying this part, you're truly insane. Lucas gives back the fuse to Kla, Kla goes back to the control panel and opens the basement door again.
Lucas goes right, in front of the other control panel. Kla gives him back the fusible, and you're finally done with the basement. Time to leave.
Ryoh goes left on the roof, then jumps down. Click on the rope icon, and he'll lower it down for Lucas to climb. Click on Lucas (the curved arrow) and he'll pull a stunt, jumping out of the window and freeing Steve.
Steve goes left, then right, and enters the house. Now he's got to shoot the enemies. Be quick about it, otherwise he'll dive behind the couch and he'll never shoot. Kla goes inside now, too, and clicks the button to turn the computer on. He'll say you need to shoot a certain button. With Steve, go inside and click the shoot option.
Meanwhile, a weird guy comes out and kills a tree. Don't mind him, just shoot that button.
With Kla, click the computer again. For bonus points, click the MP3 option and when an enemy appears again throw him the rock. Click Escape Procedure to open the safe room. Click Ryoh and he'll tie a rope to the safe. Then the safe will fly away.
To bring down the safe, you have two options. Either solve the puzzle (one side has to be red, the other green, I don't remember how I did it), or Steve can shoot the reactor.
Enjoy the final cutscene with penguins.

Anyone knows what to do with the mobile? I tried switching it off once, but it didn't change anything.
And how do you get to the other endings?

Reply

Thanks for the spoiler Irene. But I did get a little stuck. After Steve is saved, he tries to open the door but it's locked. I had to give back the fuse or Lucus wouldn't leave so I'm not sure how to keep the door open.
What am I missing?

Reply

Oh. My. Goodness.

I'm on my sister's laptop, with not a lot of CPU power, so the fps was quite low. I got to the part where I have to shoot with Steve, but it actually took me about 10 mins to do it. Even on low quality.

So...I got to the computer with Kla and

Pressed MP3, and I got shot. I guess you lose, but no FAILED came up. I'm in shock and large anger, that it took me 40 mins on that ONE run to get THAT far. ANGER!!!

Reply

Well, I can't see one anywhere else, so I'm going to post a COMPLETE, ALL 4 ENDINGS WALKITHROUGH of Warbears 2. You'd better appreciate this :).

1: Click on Steve and get him to shoot the glass dome with the enemy in it. He'll then talk with lucas a bit.
2: Get agent Kla to check out the fuse box on the side of the house by walking over to it and pressing the button button. He will then tell the other's he needs a fuse.
3: Make Kla go left and pick up the rock. (Note: You can either walk right and throw the rock, or keep the rock for something riskier, but worth morre points, later.)
4: Get Ryoh to chop the tree at MEDIUM strength, then IMMIDIATELY do it again. This should scare the squirrel into jumping onto the roof.
5: Make ryoh then chop the tree at full strength. It will fall into the roof and either blind or knock out the top-left enemy.
6: Have Ryoh cut the clothes line and take the rope.
7: At about this time, Steve's mobile will ring. Do not turn it off, and you will get bonus points. (Note: It may ring at another time, if so, do same as above.)
8: Move Kla up to the front door. On the way he will talk about the guards on the first floor, simply continue to the front door.
9: Have Lucas take one move to the left, then make him do it again. He will barely avoid a goop blob shot at him, but it increases your % score.
10: Make Kla try to open the door. This will set off an alarm. Do this again as soon as possible afterwards. The aquirrel will begin screaming, and Steve will attempt to shoot it, opening a hatch on the east wing of the house.
11: Walk Lucas over to steve and talk to him as much as possible. Steve will eventually suggest head-butting the house. After you talk to him, walk one place to the left and do so. This will both make the pipe come down, and trap Steve within the glass dome.
12: After that, have Lucas talk to Steve. Maximum points will be awarded for telling him you'll get him out.
13: Have Lucas climb the drain pipe FROM WHERE HE'S STANDING. Do not go left at first, or you will be shot. When lucas gets to the top, He will "kill" one of the enemies.
14: Solve the little puzzle in the room with Lucas. There has been rumor that the solutioon changes from person to person, but if it is consistant, it sould be 2 dots, 3 dots, 4 dots, then 1 dot. That will light up the attic for a second, and will then short-circuit a fuse in the basement.(Note: you will not be able to proceed untill you have completed the puzzle. This is indicated by a green checkmark that allows you to press the red button.)
15: Have Ryok climb up to the left side of the top of the tree on the roof, and have Lucas go to the wooden door on the left side. Attempt to open the door, and when you find that it is locked, the option of telling Ryoh will be available.
16: Tell Ryoh that the door is locked, and he will clear you to use explosives. Do so with Lucas.
17: Walk lucas to the far left lide of the room, and take the key.
18: (Note: read all of part 18 before proceeding.) Have Lucas open the steel door on the far right, and he will go downstairs. When he reaches the bottom, make sure your cursor is on him. The stairs will turn into a slide with a ramp, and a large metal ball will come down and tap Lucas, uninjuring him, but, if you keep your cursor on him, a move left option will become available, and you can use that to move out of the way and get a quick reflexes bonus. Also, Steve will recieve a call from Bea, who hangs up on him, giving you another bonus. Still, do not turn off his mobile.
19: Have Lucas walk to the first fuse box and remove the fuse. (It is closed.)
20: Move Kla off of the porch and open up the little basement window-things, then move right and open those. After that, prop up the drain pipe on the porch.
21: Lucas can now give Kla the fuse, do so, then move Kla all the way over to the outside fusebox you encountered earlier.
22: have Kla solve the sittle puzzle, by clicking on grey squares that were previously same-colored. It is a memory game. Do not click the black square. (Note: If you have a bad memory, you can "cheat" by either taking a screenshot, or staring at the center of the middle box during the whole time it's there, freezing the image on your eyes, just be sure not to move your eyes.)(Note: it is random and different every time.)
23: Make Kla open the front door and the basement door.
24: Move Kla to the deck and have him open the front door; If you want, you can tell him to go inside, but he'll simply say he can't because enemies are in there.
25: Move lucas to the next room on the left.
26: Move Kla to the fuse box again and remove the fuse. This will close the basement door.
27: Move Kla to the first basement window, and hand the fuse to Lucas.
28: Move Lucas to the small panel and open it, than flip th switch.
29: Move Lucas back to the right once, and take out the fuse.
30: Give the fuse to Kla.
31: Use the fuse in the first box again to open the basement door.
32: Get Lucas by the fuse box closest to the stairs.
33: Use Kla to remove the fuse once again.
34: Move Kla to Lucas' window, and hand the fuse to him.
35: Put the fuse in the box you are standing by, as Lucas. Move lucas right once.
36: Move Ryoh right until he hops onto the east wing roof. Lower the rope.
37: Have Lucas get to the window he came in from, and have him exit by the same window, freeing Steve.
38: (Note: read all of step 38 before proceeding.) Get Steve to go into the house. The enemies will shoot at him, but he will dodge continuously. You are completely safe. Quickly align the target, the crosshairs, and the mouse, then click to shoot guard 1. Do the same for guard 2. Now is when you'll decide your fate. You can either shoot the guard and kill him now, or get the SECRET ITEM. To kill the guard, do the same thing as you did to guards 1 and 2, but to get the secret item, shoot a secret bullseye a few lines directly below the target, then kill the guard. You will notice that the secret item is an orb in a vase. Pick it up, if you want ending 4. (Note: This can lead you to endings 2 or 4, decided later. Not taking the orb, or simply not shooting it will lead you to endings 3 or 1.)(Note: setting the quality at Medium or Low may improve your performance by making the crosshairs faster.)
39: No matter what you did with the orb, move Kla inside. Some strange man will then appear and kill a tree. This (as far as I know) does not affect the mission in any way.
40: (Note: Read all of step 40 before proceeding)(Note: Step 40 has been lengthened due to complexity.) Make Kla turn on the computer, he will than tell Lucas to go outside and shoot the second blue component from the left on a little box. Just to be clear, this is simply the middle one. Do so with Lucas. Next, have Kla open up the programs file on the computer. IF YOU KEPT THE ROCK FROM EARLIER- Click MP3, and a crane will reanimate a dead enemy. IMMIDIATELY throw the rock at him for a bonus. This is similar to what happened earlier with Lucas and the bouldar. Next, start the Excape Reocedure with Kla. Kla will tell Ryoh to do something to the Escape pod. HERE IS WHERE YOU CHOOSE ENDINGS! If you didn't take the orb from the vase, sit and do nothing as the sequence reaches zero to get ending 1. (A short recap will follow.) If you didn't take the orb, IMMIDIATELY make Ryoh use his sword to get ending 3. (See step 41 for follow up.) If you did take the orb, IMMIDIATELY stop the sequence by letting Ryoh use his sword to get ending 2. (See step 41 for follow up.) If you did take the orb, sit and do nothing with ryoh as the sequence ends to get ending 4. (A short recap will follow.)
41: The shuttle will take off and the rope you tied with Ryoh will stop it.
42: (Note: Read all of step 42 before proceeding.) Walk Ryoh up to the ship and get in it, and a puzzle will be activated. To solve it, make the left half red, and the right half green, later earning steve a warbeer, OR as a variation, but for slightly less points, you may use steve to simply shoot it down, not leaving steve with a warbeer.
Endings will be decided by the actions I described earlier. Ending 4 will give you the most points, and an A score if you followed everything correctly. The lower the number, usually, the lower the points.
Thanks for reading!
Please, If you know anything I don't, or if I've made an error, E-Mail me at [email protected].
THIS IS NOT PERFECT, but it's all I know and it gets you 1800 out of 3000 points (which is pretty good, actually) and an A.

Please comment, MANAX

Heh, i decided to go through the credits, and i got a mention in it! It says... "Thank you all who stayed at the dead forums of ioji.it" and then the thing after that says a list of names, with mine in there... My username on warbears.com is booman101, look for it in the creds :D

@Beebly:

When Kla has unlocked the 2 doors, you have to walk to the front door and open it, then go back, remove the fuse and pass it to Lucas.

Hurray!!!!
warbears 2.....this one is just as fun!

Reply

agh! i nearly ended it but he didnt tie the rope on! grrr!

im gonna try again

Reply

I cant figure out why, but i only got 57% it's a B.

i know i didn't do the box puzzle, i shot it, or throw the rock at the guy, but other than that...

Reply

I got the item, but i couldn't get the code on the box :(

Reply

YAY! i figured out the puzzle, 61% ending 1 0f 4 i accomplished it!

Reply

I got Rank A and ending 2, i think this is good

I used the secret bullseye below the real bullseye but I made Ryoh tie up the box.

Someone verify?
Also Here is my short list of things to do to get into the house.
Things to do with Ryoh.

Start off with Ryoh (as always) and destroy the clothes line, thus dropping clothes onto the tree, also making Steve's mobile ring, *this is not really important*.
Then hit the tree twice when the line on the sword is in between the hilt and the red arrow, Result: Squirrel comes out.
Then hit the tree twice with an *ALMIGHTY LEEROY JENKINS BLOW* when the line reaches over the red arrow. Result: Tree falls down waking the squirrel up.
Be warned! if you knock the tree down too early the squirrel dies! THE SQUIRREL IS A VITAL PART OF THE GAME!

Things to do with Steve

if you roll over Steve you should see a mobile and a crossheir with a target. choose the crossheir as the mobile is not really important to the mission. If you shoot properly Steve will stop and complain about the mission, Steve is now inactive.

Things to do with Kla

first move to the right and open the control panel, then move to the left and take the rock. BE WARNED! IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY KNOCKED DOWN THE TREE DO SO NOW OR KLA WILL DIE! move 2 to the right and go up the stairs. Hit the door, and again. If done quickly enough Steve will react and shoot.

Things to do with Lucas

move to the left, you should be in front of a pipe, move again to the left, you will get shot at and Lucas will flee. Then move back next to Steve and roll over Lucas, you will now see that there is a new option, talk to Steve who will tell you to headbutt the building *stupid, eh*... headbutt the building and after Steve gets stuck (if you have played as written you wont lose the game) you have a chance to get extra points, click on the speech bubble again, and press "Get You Out." he will then confess to you that he has been thinking about the donuts he stole and you get extra points. BE WARNED! IF YOU PRESS LEAVE YOU THERE YOU LOSE POINTS! go up the pipe and your on your way.

Reply

You can get another bonus if

you are able to hit the tree the first time the red bar goes up, but you have to do it every time.

How to get different endings:

You have to find the real item

The real item is somewhere in the house.

You'll have to break something open to find it.

But it's not very poilte to smash stuff up at random and ruin the nice training building.

But if you "accidentally" broke it open, I bet you could get it.

When are you very likely to damage something?

When you're fighting, of course!

That gun does have quite a bit of kick to it, doesn't it?

Okay, here's the answer.

Shoot the hidden target at the bottom of your aiming screen when you're trying to kill the 3rd target.

Heh.. mixed feelings about this one.

I like the humour, I like the setting, the graphics/sounds are nice and all in all it looks and feels nice. Especially at first.

But the game is simple trial-and-error. No, scratch that, the game is COMPLEX trial-and-error. There is no clear path to take, no clear indication whether the option you choose is right or wrong and every mistake forces you to start over from scratch. Also, the game fails to give you feedback whether you have already made an uncorrectable mistake early on, which can make the game quite a frustrating experience. In Hapland the whole thing was at least quick and fluid, here you have to hear (read) the same conversations and endure the same longish animations again and again.

The whole thing gets a thumbs down from me unfortunately, but I cannot say there is no potential in this thing. In this form, this is a game that is perhaps more enjoyable to play with a walktrough then trying to puzzle it out on your own.

Warbears Mission 2 Solution and Walktrhough

Try to open it several times and he'll say it's locked, meanwhile the squirrel on the roof will have gotten tired of the noise.
Open both doors, then go right and open phisically the house door, but don't go in yet.

I notice some people are still asking questions and not knowing how to do things, as well as posting partial walkthroughs, but this is unnecessary, as I posted a complete walkthrough a few comments up, the only new information I've encountered is that you can get extra points if you make ryoh chop the tree before the meter begins to go back down. solution

(Note: You can either walk right and throw the rock, or keep the rock for something riskier, but worth morre points, later.) 4: Get Ryoh to chop the tree at MEDIUM strength, then IMMIDIATELY do it again. (Note: It may ring at another time, if so, do same as above.) 8: Move Kla up to the front door. This is indicated by a green checkmark that allows you to press the red button.) 15: Have Ryok climb up to the left side of the top of the tree on the roof, and have Lucas go to the wooden door on the left side. (It is closed.) 20: Move Kla off of the porch and open up the little basement window-things, then move right and open those. (Note: If you have a bad memory, you can "cheat" by either taking a screenshot, or staring at the center of the middle box during the whole time it's there, freezing the image on your eyes, just be sure not to move your eyes.)(Note: it is random and different every time.) 23: Make Kla open the front door and the basement door. Not taking the orb, or simply not shooting it will lead you to endings 3 or 1.)(Note: setting the quality at Medium or Low may improve your performance by making the crosshairs faster.) 39: No matter what you did with the orb, move Kla inside. (A short recap will follow.) 41: The shuttle will take off and the rope you tied with Ryoh will stop it. Please, If you know anything I don't, or if I've made an error. THIS IS NOT PERFECT, but it's all I know and it gets you 1800 out of 3000 points (which is pretty good, actually) and an A.

to get the best ending,

when you go inside the house as steve and the targets shoot at you, shoot the first two, but before shooting the the target, look below the bullseye for a small red dot. Shoot this. (If you get the small dot and a bullseye, you'll still get "Perfect" as long as only two shots were fired. At the end, you'll get more points if you brought down the safe by completing the circuit board mini-game, and you'll also get the best ending.

I've long wished that there was a save function in the Hapland games, given how many of the puzzles in that series depend on split-second precise timing and you don't get a second chance, but the saving grace there was that the Hapland games are so phrenetic and fast-paced that it doesn't usually take too terribly long to get back to where you were should you need to start over. The Warbears games are much slower-paced, and so take much longer to get back to where you were.

The upside, I guess, is that there are fewer puzzles in the Warbears games that depend on precise timing, so at least you aren't liable to keep making the same mistake once you know where the mistake is. However, the Warbears games are so much longer than the Hapland games, with so many more puzzles that have to be solved in the right order, and it takes forever for the chief to give you a cryptic hint what to do.

In spite of this, the first game was really fun, and I actually managed to beat it without a walkthrough (though it was tempting), after several hours of trying. This game was fun enough, but the whole malarky with Steve at the start is really off-putting.

It depends on triggering so many events in exactly the right order, and it's completely illogical. I had to try about 6 or 7 times before I finally got it right without even realizing what I'd done different, and the next couple tries I still got it wrong and had to look at a walkthrough to see what I'd done right.

Thankfully, after that I didn't need to look at the walkthrough again...

at least not for endings 1 and 3...

but still, it made me downright cranky through the rest of the mission. And the other times I screwed up and had to go through that whole stupid chain again in exactly the right order, I just got irritable. I haven't tried for

endings 2 and 4

so far, I'm waiting to cool down a little before going through all that again.

Not denying for a moment that the game is well made and very funny. But put a save feature next time.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone been able to get 100% completion? I'm up to 90%, but I don't know what I need to get that last bit. I've done all 4 endings, done as many of the "mistakes" as I can think of, and even wasted my time to finish the "most complete" ending with 2000 points in a single attempt (meaning I got perfects on every puzzle/target, got both reflex points, and got the points for being nice to steve).

How do you get 100%?!

You should try again with mirror mode on ^^ !

Okay, I've encountered a new hitch:

I've finished with the basement fuse-swapping malarky and now Kla needs to pass the fuse back down to Lucas one last time, but when I get them both in position and click on the fuse-with-arrow icon, Kla just says "Humm..." and won't do it! What is he waiting for?

Phew, there! The walkthrough that you've all been begging for! I'm really glad that others made some before me, or I woulda been stumped somewhere along the line. Credits to Alex, Ryho (were you trying for Ryoh the ninja polar bear and made a typo?), MANAX, and Irene for making some, but I got too confused by the large amount of text. Still was very helpfull though.

I feel as if theres WB1, and then the level amps, so its level 2, level 3... etc. The recent "adventure" one was incredibly easy. WB3 was... ugh! crazy hard. Luckily, there were checkpoint sorta thins. For people trying to pass the fuse, and Kla is saying, "Hmm..." - i have no idea what you're talking about. And theres 2 times where you need to give the fuse back to Lucas - which time?: the 1st time or the 2nd time?

if kla says hmmm, it means you need to open the front door.
if you think about it, they NEED TO GET IN THE HOUSE!!!

WTF?! The walkthrough doesn't make sense. You said to move to the left twice for Lucas to be shot at, and then he will "flee". What flee? He doesn't flee anywhere, he gets shot at with the goop and I am unable to use him any longer and then the chief says I failed the mission!

WTF?!?!

Piko,

The fuse box is in the beasment. When you get Lucas in top-right window after getting the key from the other room, go down the stairs into the basement and the fusebox should be in the room on the far-left in the basement.

I"m at 41% . . . I had opened the basement door for Lucas to get back out of the basement and now Kla won't give him the fuse to put back in the original slot so I can get out . . .

I got to the best ending, but I just can't solve the puzzle at the end! I got the red thingies on the left, but it's impossible to get the green ones at the right side.. :(

I can do everything until when it says that ryoh or whatever bear is on the roof and it says go to the other side and go down so he will drop rope and all that other stuff, but when I do that he won't drop the rope and if i put my mouse on him it only has a question mark. Will someone help me please?. Thanks. Add me. my name is thedarkknight and my username is neverbackdown1.
